I wouldn't wish this apartment experience on my worst enemy.
When we signed our lease, we were told the construction would be done by Summer 2024. It is now almost Fall 2025, and the construction is unbearable. There is constant construction noise starting at around 7:30am and lasting until 6:30pm Monday through Saturday, making it absolutely impossible to work from home. The workers randomly block off exits and entrances, so you never know whether you will be able to get to the gym or parking garage. Both pools have been closed all summer, and yet the management has made absolutely no effort to accommodate the residents. They have been completely unreceptive to requests and cannot give any actual answers about when construction will end or what the construction workers are even doing at this point. We have had multiple maintenance requests go completely ignored for months. And management thinks they can slap a bandaid on the problems by offering residents a breakfast or a car wash after years of apathy. Oh, and if this hasn't convinced you yet, the buildings test the fire alarm systems almost every two weeks at random hours, so you may wake up to screeching. This apartment has provided anything but the luxury living it advertises. My best advice, look elsewhere.

Never came across such bad management. A short intro to this review - We are moving this summer from NJ to Dallas and looking for a 2BD 2Bath apartment/condo. We called the leasing agent via phone. He mentioned to apply online and I clearly mentioned we will confirm the apartment only after we visit in person. For unforeseen reasons, our move has been changed to later date. I contacted the leasing team (Isiah). Got response back saying we will give you a link for refund , after 2 weeks of my initial email follow-up. This week Haley got back to me saying we are not going to give your refundable security deposit of $750 back as the application was approved. Both parties agreed upon only confirming the apartment once we visit it in person as we were living in NJ. We feel this is cheating and making money on applicant’s security deposits. Looking forward to take this matter further and lodge a complaint. Please be aware of this bad administration and pathetic response.

Lived here for almost 2 years now and without a doubt will be moving at the end of our lease. This place has horrific corporate management and does not care for the residents on their property.
I was told in Sept 2023 while looking at apartments that the construction would be finished by Summer 2024. This was a big factor in me living here. Needless to say, it is now July 2025 and construction is still in full swing. It truly feels like no progress has been made construction wise either. I have watched a residential highrise 2 blocks away (The Hanover) be fully built, completed, and open for tenants in the time that I’ve lived here - meanwhile the workers here are sanding and repainting our balcony for the 6th time (not an exaggeration). There is zero communication for progress as well. Workers are constantly banging on your windows, talking/screaming to each other across the courtyard, answering calls on speaker phone while on your balcony, drilling into your walls, hammering, etc. It never ends.
Along with this, Renaissance at PH advertises the perk of having 2 pools! If only. In the entire 2 years I’ve lived here, the 2nd pool has not been available for use. And on top of that, they scheduled main pool construction for this summer, beginning early May, leaving us without a pool this summer even though it’s baked into our rent price. I tried to complain but got told we signed a “construction addendum” basically saying they can do what they want. Don’t expect a clean or even filled up pool if you want to live here.
Some other random grievances I’ve had while living here:
- they are notorious for testing the fire alarms religiously, but won’t alert you to them doing so till afterwards. Multiple times I’ve been woken up at 7am exactly on a Saturday/Sunday by them testing our fire alarms - only to get an email 3 hours later saying “oh by the way, we are testing building X fire alarms today”. You don’t say.
- one of the 3 gym treadmills has been broken for a year+ now.
- workers had splattered paint on our door while working, it wasn’t repainted for 2 more months.
- They blocked our floor’s entry way to the garage for a solid 3 months without notice - causing us to have to walk down the stairs, walk around half of the parking garage, go up stairs again and then walk all the way to our parking spot.
- landscaping is awful, there is only dirt in the courtyards.
If you’ve made it this far - don’t live here. If you do choose to live here, I certainly hope it’s a better experience than mine (and hopefully the construction is actually done soon!)

The photos I post is what its really like if you lease from this place, and if that is what you think living in a luxury apartment complex looks like..... Please come live here, I originally gave this place 3 stars because Christine the former manager helped a lot, now that she gone, this place will be as awful as can be.
I have been lied to over and over about how long the construction would take, last I was informed in would all be done by July, and we are now in October. My balcony which is part of the blue print that was given to me when I signed my lease have been closed for painting, then I few months later. I was told that it will be demolish and all my items have to cleared by Sept 3rd. No one even started working on it until Sept. 13th. When I cleared all my items, I came down stairs and spoke with Isiah Rogers the Saturday before Labor Day (Sept 2nd), he informed me to stop by the office on Tuesday (Sept 3rd) and he can inform me on the update on how long it would take to have the demolition completed, when I stopped by that Tuesday I was informed that he was on vacation for 2 weeks, so he lied to me that he would follow up with something for me, knowing he would not be around to do it. I was able to get feedback some people on site that once they start ( Sept 13th) it will take 2 weeks..... today is October 10th, and the balcony is not even close to being finished.... I was lied to once again !
The cons, would be the disorganized behavior of the people at the front desks. During construction my balcony door was broken and won't open, Isiah Rogers told me to just push it really really hard and it will open, so he is literally encouraging me to damage property that I am renting from that don't belong to me. When I agreed to sign a new lease, I was very polite and came down and told him I would renew, he told me he would have it in portal for me to sign, he never put it in the portal, I went in the next day to find out he forgot to do it, Marilyn had to finish it and put it in the portal for me. I think this place would be a wonderful place to lease from once some of the employees learn to be more organized and take ownership for their responsibilities and not encourage tenants to damage the property, I can 100% say that if I pushed it and that balcony door got damaged, he certainly would not be willing to take responsibility.
Isiah Rogers have always have a rude and dismissive attitude, he will not follow through with anything that you ask him to do, his lack of good communication skills is a big reason why this apartment complex is having terrible information regarding the construction, regarding any maintenance request that you put in. Please look elsewhere, and do not come in for a lease !
