Initially Impressed, But Disappointed Over Time

I’ve lived in this apartment complex for nearly seven months. When I first moved in, I was genuinely impressed—the buildings are modern, the amenities are excellent, and the staff seemed friendly and helpful. I was so satisfied that I referred both my daughter and a friend to move in. I regularly host study groups for my fellow MSN students in the clubhouse and even organized a Memorial Day pool party for these friends.
Unfortunately, my experience has taken a turn. The professionalism and responsiveness of the leasing office have declined significantly.
There have been several moments that just didn’t sit right. In one instance during a study group, I mentioned the coffee machine was broken—literally 3 minutes before the office closed—and Marisa got noticeably testy with us for bringing it up.
On Memorial Day, during a fire alarm in Building One, Mallory—who was not working that day was screaming at residents and guests to leave the pool area. While safety is important, her tone and behavior were aggressive and inappropriate.
The last straw is in regard to an email to Colton, the property manager, on June 29 about a referral bonus for a friend who moved in before Memorial Day. As of today, I have yet to receive a COURTESY response. Ignoring resident communication—especially regarding promised incentives—is unprofessional and unacceptable.
Other frustrations have added up as well. There’s a $48 fee just to pay rent with a debit or credit card, which feels like excessive nickel-and-diming. On top of that, the "Justin Mobile" resident app hasn’t worked in months, and there’s been no resolution or communication about it.
This complex has great potential and started off strong, but ongoing customer service and communication issues are making the experience frustrating. I truly hope management takes resident feedback seriously and makes meaningful improvements.

I have greatly enjoyed living at The Linden overall. The touring experience was exceptional, and I have even referred friends to move in. At the time, I was informed that I would receive a $500 referral bonus once they moved in; however, it has now been two months, and I have not yet received it. I was also told I would receive a TV upon signing on move-in day, but it has been four weeks, and I am still waiting for it.
One highlight has been the maintenance team — they are friendly, approachable, and always quick to help when needed. However, I’ve found it challenging at times to receive timely responses from the office staff. While we truly enjoy living here, I believe maintaining consistent professionalism beyond the initial move-in process would make the experience even better.

I believe my favorite part of this community is the sense of security. Very well lit and you need to have a guest pass or live here to have gate access. And obviously it's just overall in a great area already here already!

Just moved in and so far the experience has been amazing! The staff is so helpful and will let you sit in their office and listen to you ask a million questions and provide you answers. Had a problem with my door and called maintenance and they had someone there within 30 minutes to fix it and he was incredibly nice and welcoming. Everyone has been super welcoming and helpful!
