Be prepared for roaches. No matter how many treatments you will get, roaches will always be a problem. Every night you will see 1-4 and it’s absolutely disgusting. I got in the habit of cleaning everything every night and couldn’t help but scan the walls every night and morning to kill every roach I could but they never stop. I bought my own pesticides multiple times and they’d seem to stop for a while but if the entire building, (and sewer), is infested with roaches then treating my apartment wouldn’t really help.
The maintenance crew is so wishy washy.
My apartment flooded twice in one year and they never came to repair the things damaged after the second time. It’s not my job to repair the broken things nor fight to have them repaired and just decided to move.
The third floor toilet had some issue so the water came through the walls to my first floor and the water was disgusting. I had water coming from the tops of door frames and under the walls. Since the apartment is slanted down in ways, the water flowed from the entryway , to the bathroom, to the bedroom closet, to the kitchen under the fridge. I noticed this after I got home from work around 5 and tried what I could to clean up. Then maintenance was able to fix the issue later that night and THEN someone came to try and enter my apartment at 2am using the master key to “check the damage” and completely freaked me out. They never came back after that to fix the damaged things or check the water damage so I put in maintenance request to come check things out which never happened. I then went to the front office to ask for help and they said they would send someone the next day which also never happened.
I wasn’t going to fight them to get help so I just did what I could to clean and left the rest. Funny that they of course try to raise the rent as well which is another reason why I moved out.
Parking is horrible. You absolutely need a parking pass or you will often be driving around for 30+ mins to get a spot. There are not enough spots for residents and after 9pm on weekdays all the spots are often taken so you are waiting for someone to leave. It’s miserable.
Too many residents feel like they can use the parking lot as either a mechanic shop or a place to party. Constantly the apartment sends out notices for people not to work on cars all day out in the parking lot and to not party outside around cars. People always blast music from their cars and drink all night. I’m all for having a good time but there’s a time and place and every night outside by your car is not the time or place. Go inside and drink and play your music loud if you want to party.
The ONLY plus for this is the Kroger being across the street to walk to. Almost everything else is a negative and you should avoid living at this complex.

People in this community are inconsiderate, noisy, and can make you feel uncomfortable. There are cars constantly parked in the streets and fire zones, people are having parties and drink in the parking lot and leave trash outside and turn music up so loud from their cars and keep the doors/windows open, you can feel the bass from inside your apartment. Some of the men that hang out outside will watch you go in or out, some will even call out to you (as a woman walking alone). Noise can be disruptive at any time: 5am, 7-8am, middle of the day, 2-3am. The complex also has roaches even with pest control and the units are dirty before you move in. The apartment complex doesn't do much of anything to help resolve the issues so you have to just deal with it or move. Safety is not a priority, the enter/exit gates don’t close and leasing office staff will say it’s getting fixed soon but it’s not. People exit through the enter gate, enter through the exit gate, block off roads, block your way driving around. I would strongly not recommend this complex or community to anyone looking for a home. Rent is cheap but you absolutely get what you pay for.

I’m in the Hamptons apartment complex, apartment 172. My apartment was flooded from the person above me and I came home to an inch of water and the ceiling had fallen through. Even though the emergency maintenance got some of the water cleared up I have things soaked and the place is obviously molding. Unhealthy to say the least! I requested to move into an equivalent apartment as this is obviously unsafe now. I was denied. I am supposed to move my things around from room to room to let maintenance work on it. Completely ridiculous and I physically can’t. I’m in the process of a claim with the renters insurance of the guy above me but for now I have nowhere to live. Every time I enter I’m sick afterwards as the mold is obviously setting in quickly. both Anterra Communities Management and The Hamptons Apartments are responsible. They will respond to this review with please contact us which is useless!!!!

Enjoyed my apartment as this was my first apartment when moving to Texas . I believe I had the best unit out there . Problem is I have a 30 day notice of me leaving in the drop box and now I’m just finding out that they said I never gave notice when i definitely did because the lady at the time even helped me days later when I said I would go and look at other units to see if I wanted a bigger one but the others were horrible

Lived here a year ago and left due to the lack of safety, roaches, and the awful parking shortage. Don’t recommend women or children staying near this area, many residence (primarily men) stay loitering outside drinking and playing loud music. I never felt safe here. Had my car towed 3 times because they simply do not have enough space. And dealt with so many roaches I had to throw everything in my kitchen cabinets after I left. By the looks of recent reviews it seems like things have only gotten worse.
