Hot water is off every other day! My A/C went out and I had to involve the “health code “to get them to resolve the issue. They told me to pay Out of Pocket for a window unit when THEIR EQUIPMENT WASN'T WORKING! Maintenance equipment has been left outside my apartment for days, just sitting there (multiple times too).

Worst place I ever lived.. and here’s why:
First off, I have lived here for about 2 years. Management changes every 3-5 months or so because the property manager has no choice but to resign or get fired due to constant complaints. The CURRENT management is rude, does not answer phone calls emails, and honestly— I’m not sure what exactly it is they do.
I have had CONSTANT issues with maintenance. There has been a HOLE above my shower from the above unit’s water leak, and has yet to be fixed for nearly a year now. The payment portal has been down for a month now, and they charge their residents late fee’s because rent isn’t paid on-time.
They constantly charge “ghost fees” with no explanation that were not in the lease prior. This PLACE IS A SCAM. D. NOT. LIVE. HERE.
DON’T!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STAY AWAYYYYY!!!!!!

This place is horrible to live in and why (this is my personal experience and forewarning):
My window in my living room has been broken since DEC 22,2023 which was now a YEAR AGO!
They have put off and made excuses as to why hasn’t been fixed, including new management, Not submitting enough maintenance requests (even thought I submitted at least 4) Even after a new management company took over.
I sent them certified mail to which they did not respond (sent to avenue5 headquarters and on property leasing location), They have “lost” ALL cashiers checks I’ve paid with and had to provide proof of payment for every single one because they “couldn’t find it”.
Until recent the staff has been absolutely awful with terrible attitudes and disregard for my concerns or needs. Recently staff has changed and they have been a lot more helpful, however. They did “lose” my 60 day notice, in which they require a specific form to be filled out which I did on Oct 9th,2024 for move out on Dec 9th, 2024. When I asked why my rent was not pro-rated for the end of my lease Dec 1-9 2024, they said they did not have a record of my 60 day notice.
I DO HAVE COPIES OF ALL DOCS AND AM ABLE TO PROVE MY 60 DAY NOTICE, however it’s the fact they’ve lost every single paper record I’ve submitted including ALL Cashiers checks to pay rent with in which I had to provide further documentation that payment was submitted on time and date, And furthermore they “lost” my 60 day notice they made me come in and fill out a special form for on paper. Now they are asking for a copy of the documentation that I did in fact filled that out and had proof of filling that out (and have proof of).
Please do not live here by all means it is the worst apartment I’ve ever live in, The worst management company I’ve ever dealt with and they’ve been managing this property for over a year!
They do not and won’t care about your well-being or living situation after you moving in!

My experience at The Celine Apartments has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite initially being excited to move into what was advertised as a gated community, the reality has been far from satisfactory.
Management Incompetence: It took over 5 months of constant back-and-forth communication for the management to remove a collection from my credit report that did not even belong to me. Instead of owning up to their mistake, they suggested my identity was stolen, despite no evidence supporting this claim. This negligence tanked my credit, and it still hasn't fully recovered.
Maintenance Nightmares: While they have no issue collecting rent promptly, the same cannot be said for addressing maintenance requests. It's baffling that work orders submitted through the same portal used for rent payments consistently go ignored. It took a staggering 6 months for a simple toilet repair in our master bathroom, despite paying for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit.
Facility Failures: The advertised gated community turned out to be a farce, as the gates never work. Security is practically non-existent, evidenced by the fact that someone was shot through a wall since our move-in. The pool, a supposed amenity, is rarely open even in the sweltering summer months. Landscaping maintenance is virtually non-existent, contributing to the overall shabby appearance of the complex.
Apartment Quality: The apartment itself is a testament to poor craftsmanship. Baseboards and trim don't align, AC vents hang loosely from the walls, and multiple maintenance issues such as malfunctioning outlets, broken bathroom fans, and frequent AC freezing have been left unaddressed. Mold in the AC coils, as proven by at home mold tests- that has yet to be addressed.
Safety and Security Concerns: Stray cats roam freely, and there have been no efforts to trap or neuter them. Moreover, dog owners allow their pets to roam off-leash, posing a threat to residents and their leashed pets. Inadequate lighting at night further compounds safety concerns.
In hindsight, I deeply regret choosing to reside in The Celine. The lack of accountability from management, coupled with subpar facilities and safety hazards, make this complex wholly unsuitable for anyone seeking a peaceful and secure living environment. If breaking the lease were financially feasible, I would have done so without hesitation.
Prospective tenants beware: The Celine is a ticking time bomb of maintenance issues, safety hazards, and management incompetence. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for a place to call home.
I would never have left a review if they didn't ask me for one.
Update: they stole our $500 security deposit and will not tell us what it’s being put toward. Just said we would not be getting a refund and threatened to send our account to collections if we didn’t pay $2000 for failing to turn in our notice. (We did turn in our 60 day notice, they just didn’t sign it then magically lost it)
