The community itself is nice, however management keeps trying to nickel and dime the residents and the property while continually raising rent making things increasingly unaffordable. To start, my renewal rate offer was $1583 for a one bedroom. This is $60 a month more than I currently pay. When I contacted the office asking if they could negotiate a lower rate as they have done in previous years I was told that they had to offer the same rate to everyone otherwise they would be violating the Fair Housing Act. Interestingly, my apartment is currently listed on the website for $1482 a month. Either someone is lying, or they think I'm gullible. Aside from that, there are numerous problems with the property that have been brought to the attention of management, but nothing has been done. In the few years I've lived here, I have experienced the following: 1) a few years back my apartment flooded and management was very unresponsive and I was required to pay rent for an apartment I had no access to. It took an additional year for follow up work to be completed 2) My garage has been broken into twice and management refuses to install security cameras. 3) The security gates routinely malfunction. 4) Grass in first floor apartments being replaced with turf presumably because it’s cheaper. 5) My dishwasher malfunctioned and was replaced with a unit that doesn’t fit correctly in the space. It also does not have the same functionality as the previous unit and is much cheaper in quality. 6) No one ever answers the phone in the front office 7) When no one answers the phone I have to go to the office in person. However office hours on weekends have been reduced with Sundays being eliminated totally. 8) Combative employees in the front office when trying to get an update on requested repairs. 9) I have attempted to contact the Bell Partners regional office in Dallas but all calls go straight to voice mail and are never returned. 10) A garage door in building 11 was damaged. It was replaced but remains unpainted. It looks cheap and unfinished. This is a long list, and while some of these are small details, they all add up. Especially for an apartment complex that wants to charge me an extra $100 a month, and where some one bedrooms are pushing $2000 per month.
