From the moment I moved in, I was welcomed with open arms by the community and the exceptional management team, led by the remarkable Lisa. As a dog owner, I can confidently say that Main 3 Apartments is exceptionally pet-friendly. I've lived in Main 3 Lofts since September 2023, in the Gulf States building. The staff is amazing, and quick to respond to issues, and are constantly trying to improve the amenities or fix issues. The building does have some issues on occasion as happens anywhere, but I'm always impressed with how quickly maintenance responds to issues. Ive never had any pest issues of any kind, which is also amazing considering how old the buildings are and how many people live here. The only negatives I have are more about downtown generally and not Main 3, which tbh is street noise. People race up and down our downtown streets at night, revving their engines insanely loud which is not cool. I'm fine with city life but Dallas is the noisiest city I've ever lived in. Sirens, emergency services, people dancing, or protesting, or cheering and hollering and having a good time are all fine noises, but the street racing noises are worse than what I've ever heard in Chicago, NYC, Houston, or Fort Worth. I am not taking stars away for this because it's not something management can control, and I urge anyone reading this to contact your city council people to urge them to enforce sound ordinances. Security is going to be a struggle for a building on Main St. Downtown, but I feel Main 3 does a great job with it. All the doors are electronically controlled and the main entrances also have cameras (not sure about other entrances but they require passing through double locked doors so hard for anyone without proper access to actually gain entrance). And if you do see someone suspicious (which is very rare), security has always been quick to respond. Anyway, management for this building is amazingly responsive, and quick to address issues. They've been redoing the amenities lately which has been a general success IMO - the gym is good to get a full body workout in with most of the tools you need between weight benches, dumbbells, plates and barbells, and a full cable machine as well as cardio machines (IMO too much cardio, but not at the detriment of other equipment). The pool has fantastic city views as well as a nice grilling/picnic area. Overall, I really enjoy living here!
