The increased lighting around the property is very much appreciated. I understand they're getting ready to replace a number of the windows where the insulation has lapsed.

For some reason when you enter the address of the front office of this apartment complex, Google maps keeps taking you to the gate that closed if the front office could kindly make this correction so anytime that anyone put in the address for the apartment complex for front office they won’t be directed to a closed gate. Otherwise, you will have to go all the way around and make a U-turn and come back up the street to try again to get to the front office of that apartment complex 600 feet Parkway. When you’re on Dallas Parkway, you will see the Brixton Apartments on the right turn right turn right there is no clear obvious sign for LaSalle Apartments you see flags. Easily miss. The way the brick la salle sign is facing is easily missed. The sign is facing straight ahead instead of facing where drivers can see it as they are driving

UPDATING MY REVIEW BECAUSE FOR SOME REASON IT WASN'T SHOWING IN THE LIST OF REVIEWS. PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE MOVING HERE!!
First of all, I'd like to say that my only reason for giving this place 2 stars and not 1 is because of their wonderful maintenance team. Jose and Justin are very helpful and quick at fixing pretty much anything! However, we had several negative incidents while living here and all incidents were involving the manager, Blanca Carrillo. On one occasion, my van was malfunctioning and literally barely made it to the front office parking lot before it turned off on me. When my husband came home, he opened the trunk to take a look at it really quick. Out came Blanca and said, "You can't do mechanic out here!" My husband was caught off guard and just told her he wasn't going to do mechanic, he was just taking a look at it. She then complained again about him having the van out there so he ended up pushing it to a parking space and had it working the next day.
On another occasion, I had family members come over to have a swim. It was on June 15th, on a Thursday around 4 pm. I noticed ladies staring at us through the window and suddenly Blanca comes out and she says, "Do you live here?? What apartment??" I said I did and gave her the apartment number. She then says, "Did you know you can only have two guests??" I told her I did not know that. I'll admit, it was my fault for not reading my lease well. Anyway, she goes inside and comes back out within 5 minutes with a copy of my lease highlighting the part where it says "only two guests allowed". She hands it to me and says, "Here is a copy of your lease. And I'm going to have to ask you to leave." This whole time she is speaking to me she has this attitude in her voice and is extremely rude. Mind you, there were no other residents at the pool that day. I'd understand if we were taking up space but that wasn't the case. She just thrives off being rude to others. She could've been more lenient and said something to the effect of, "You're already here so I'll let you stay but moving forward, you can only bring two guests." But nope, she kicked us out and stood at the window staring at us the whole time until she could no longer see us. I'll admit, it was 10 of us there (including my family of 5) but still, there are ways to speak to residents and that's not one of them. You'd think for our rent of over $2,300 they'd be more understanding. We used the pool maybe 5 times in 13 months. I had a lease violation emailed to me within 2 hours! No warning or anything, an actual violation. My husband also had another incident where he was helping his nephew with a flat tire and she came quick and told them they can't do "mechanic" out there. He said he was just helping with a flat tire but she didn't even allow that. So, just prepare yourselves in case you get a flat. Be sure you have enough to pay for a tow truck to tow your car to a tire place because she won't let you fix that there.
Lastly, my advice is to first find out if Blanca Carrillo is still working at this complex, if so, find another place to rent and save yourself all the negative encounters you will have with her. Our lease renewal was coming up and my husband said we should just find another place to live. As fast as it was for Blanca to give us a violation, we didn’t want to risk getting kicked out for anything considering everything bothers her.

I have lived here since 8/1/2018. It's my little slice of heaven. My own little community. Justin and his team are a class act and really make it a priority to fix any maintenance issues promptly. Over the years he's never let me down including digging me out of the snow.
Our assistant Manager Tiana is a breath of fresh air. If you come here she'll be the one dressed beautifully with a big smile on her face. If you have a problem she'll be the one to lend an ear. If you have an issue with your apartment she'll be the one to sit down and work it out with you. I highly recommend my awesome apartment complex and the awesome team that runs it❤️
