I cannot stress enough how disappointing our experience at Jaxxon Apartments has been. From the moment we moved in, it was nothing short of a nightmare. The apartment was absolutely filthy when we arrived. It was clear that it had not been cleaned at all. There was dust, grime, and dirt everywhere, and I had to spend hours just to make the place livable. To make matters worse, the walls had clearly been painted over without any proper preparation. The paint job was sloppy, with visible brush strokes and peeling in several areas, making the apartment feel like a rundown place instead of a "freshly painted" home. We were promised a fully renovated apartment, but what we received was nothing close to that. The apartment was in poor condition from the start. The cabinets and vents were old, and several of them had visible mold and water stains. It was clear that nothing had been updated or replaced as we had been led to believe. Instead of a modern, clean living space, we were stuck with outdated fixtures and appliances that seemed like they hadn't been touched in years. As if that wasn’t bad enough, we discovered a hole in the door to our bedroom, which looked like it had been shot through. It was an absolute eyesore and made the place feel unsafe. When I brought this up to management, they were completely unresponsive and didn’t seem to care at all. In addition to the door issue, they also provided the wrong toilet seat for our toilet, which seemed like a small detail but was just another sign of the poor attention to detail and lack of care. And let me not forget to mention that the water was frequently turned off. It seemed like every other week, we’d be dealing with water outages for hours, sometimes even a whole day. It was incredibly inconvenient. Speaking of management, they were horrible. Every interaction I had with them was frustrating, and they were consistently rude. It was nearly impossible to get any sort of help or resolution to our problems. When it came time to discuss renewing our lease, the manager was incredibly pushy and made it clear she was only interested in locking us into another term. We chose not to renew, and the entire process left a sour taste in our mouths. All in all, I would not recommend Jaxxon Apartments to anyone. The maintenance is subpar, the management is rude, and the apartment itself was in a terrible condition when we moved in. It’s unfortunate that such a place is allowed to operate without addressing these significant issues. Save yourself the stress and find somewhere else to live. Do NOT move here. Do NOT move here. **Absolutely the worst apartment experience — avoid Jaxon at all costs!!! *** I just moved out of Jaxon last week, and I can say with complete honesty that this was the most frustrating and stressful living situation I’ve ever experienced. If you’re considering applying here — *DONT.* Save yourself the time, money, and emotional energy. From day one, it was a disaster. The water was shut off *almost every single week*, sometimes without notice. I was told my washer and dryer would be included with rent, but when I moved in, they weren’t even in the unit. I had to wait *weeks* — no rent adjustment, no apology, just a constant runaround. I paid monthly for a reserved parking spot, but it meant nothing. Someone else was always parked there when I got home, and when I called the office, all they ever did was *call the car owner and ask them to move*. No warnings, no towing, no solutions. After about six times, I had to handle it myself because clearly management didn’t care. When I first moved in, I couldn’t even use my own shower because *they forgot to resurface it*. Instead, I was told to shower in a different apartment. When I asked the manager, Jamie, for the key after a long shift (I’d been up since 2 AM), she literally rolled her eyes and said, “Well, I wanted to finish my lunch first.” Her mistake, and yet I was the one inconvenienced — again. Trying to get in contact with Jaxon is a joke. Calling? It goes straight to voicemail. Email? You’ll never get a response. Unless you physically go to the office, don’t expect any help. Honestly, I don’t know why they even have a phone line. The maintenance crew was friendly, but still careless. One of them put dirty tools on my *brand-new couch* and ruined the fabric. No apology, no compensation — just another problem I had to deal with. As for safety? Nonexistent. They advertise as a “gated community,” but the gates are always open. My friend’s car was broken into *twice,* and a neighbor had items stolen from his as well. Security is basically nonexistent, and management couldn’t care less. The cherry on top? Jamie told me I wouldn’t be charged if I fully cleared the apartment before moving out — which I did. Yet, a week later, I was randomly charged *\$120 for a cleaning fee.* No explanation. Nothing to clean. Just another shady fee to squeeze money out of me. Jaxon is poorly managed, overpriced, and dishonest. Jamie and the team make empty promises, ignore resident concerns, and take no responsibility for anything. Everything looks decent on the outside — but don’t be fooled. Once you sign that lease, you’re on your own. Please, *DO NOT MOVE HERE.* There are so many better places to live in the area. This complex is a scam, plain and simple.
