Market value pricing at High Point Townhomes gets you...
- Trash littered throughout the property all the time
- Roaches that only temporarily go away when pest control comes
- Long waits for maintenance
- Fences in severe disrepair
- Sloppily painted, lopsided cabinets
- Uneven or missing baseboard
- A false sense of security given through multiple cameras that do not adequately cover assigned parking spaces
Market value pricing at High Point Townhomes does not get you...
- Repairs on fences that are in shambles
- Timely completion on repairs they decide to take care of. I had an unpainted patch on my bedroom ceiling for over a month before they took care of it.
- Repairs at all sometimes. There was a visible hole in the outer layer of my skylight that maintenance didn't replace because it wasn't leaking.
- A nice looking place that looks the value that you're paying for
The front office staff is only armed with the phrase "Market value" if you ever try to complain about the quality of what you're getting. I spoke to the owner who only gave excuses for every complaint brought to him. He told me that no one else has problems, then in the same breath complained how many people ask for back-pay on their rent.
You will pay a lot of money to be really unhappy in this place.

I wish I could put 0 star reviews and be able to write a review. That place is absolutely horrible. All apartments has Beetle I had to go to office for two months to force them to clean up my apartment.
I didn’t have AC for one week and the manager didn’t want to change the AC . I had to move out soon as my lease expired . I asked them to send me someone to clean up the kitchen she said they will charge me $200 now she sent me a bill for $300. I asked why she said we need to clean up the tub? That was the first time after living 9 years in the U.S I saw this. Should they paint a tub for next person. I posted this pic for people to see how clean was my apartment.

We moved here from Arkansas and it’s been the worst 2100 for a 1100 square footage rip off. Everything looks patched and painted over. They try to make it look like 2100 but anybody that knows good quality knows it’s not worth it. Also they didn’t mention that the extra fees water, sewer, trash, and etc always 45 days behind. Everytime we turn around and pay off rent it’s always another fee on our account as past due! We pay for pest control but roaches are out of hand, and I’m a very clean tenant! We had only been in the apartment 2 weeks and got a high water bill for months we wasn’t even staying there yet! The office barely answers the phone and really don’t care with bad attitude when trying to explain to them that the fees not making sense ! We will not be renewing our lease. Worst experience made me and family want to go back to Arkansas! Also the neighbor kids be outside trying to put rocks in people gas tank and be outside cursing and throwing rocks! I have a video of a fight that almost happens in front of my car while trying to get out. These are the projects, & need to based as projects!

If I could give a 0 I would. In July I requested rental assistance due to me, falling behind on my rent. So was able to gain assistance from a charitable organization. I was short on my rent I was able to receive the money and cover the balance due. The organization mailed the check to the, where I am a current resident. Days later, I so happened to check the online portal to ensure the money was received and deposited into my account. I noticed a credit made on my account, which, which shows high credit which was strange. To the office to request a ledger, regarding why it showing this amount and requested to see the check that was received, management states check had been deposited, clearly the check was in my file, which the portal shows M/O. Checked the portal for August shows a high credit requested another ledger shows the July rent payment posted on 8/28. September showing high credit according to the portal. management came to my door requesting a favor and explaining what happened, for me to get hold of the charity that deposited the check and ask them how much was the check for the $6000 for another tenant, I'm like that's odd that they didn't catch their mistake and no eviction notice was sent out. and management also stated it wasn't $6000 it was $600 which was a computer clinch error this pymnt is July pymnt not for September I never understand why payment was posted to the wrong account, not the right account. I requested a 30 move-out date from September 25 to October 30. Management advised me to apply for the same charity program as the other tenants have applied for and stated that they paid other tenants rent of $2000 and that I will need to pay more to get it down, when I asked her I didn't think this is correct she wasn't trying to hear what I was asking. October Rent has been taken care of and has been paid and applied. From November 2022 till the Present management stated that rent is due by the 3rd and that you can pay before the end of the month and with only be charged a 3% late fee depending on how much the market value of your rental per month. I've never experienced this before, and this terrible experience has taken a toll on my mental causing me to deal with anxiety and depression. Also continues having backed up plumbing problems, halve fixed when you request what needs fixing.

If I could give 0 stars I would. And I'm not the type who usually leaves bad reviews (check my profile). We moved into the Park Springs side the year of the TX Freeze. At first it seemed typical. We decided to pay the extra $15/mo for the insurance through the property management company. This was the worst thing we could have ever done. When the freeze hit we list power for almost a week, had to leave the house to stay with friends because we didn't want to die. We left the faucets running but it didn't matter. We woke up to a call from our neighbor that our unit was flooded. We arrived at 6am to find over 2 inches of water throughout the entire main floor. We asked for the insurance information so we could file a claim to recover the thousands of dollars of lost personal property. They told us that insurance was never for our personal property! That was red flag #1!
As the months led on we watched the care of the property deteriorate. Our porchlight broke so we put in a ticket. It never got fixed. The other lights in the parking lot broke. We put in a ticket. Nothing happened. If I could show you pictures of how pitch black it would be at night, I would. My partner works nights at TI so it was so incredibly hard to get into the unit. I an disabled and it was very dangerous for me to go to the car at night or try to take the trash out or even get grocery/food delivered. Those were the last 2 red flags but we're not done yet unfortunately.
The 2nd summer we watched our neighbor struggle with keeping their unit cooled enough. But then ours broke as well. So EVERY DAY the temp in the house climbed to 87°F. We'd put in a ticket it would work for a day or 2 then break again. It was awful and INHUMANE.
By the time we had left this awful place there was trash all over the ground in front of the building, the porch light broke again, the back patio fence had fallen over & then the kicker! They refused to renew our lease. That was just blessing from Gaia though to get us out of here.
So, they will tempt you with a "move in special" but don't believe it because they will just raise the rent $100 the next year to get it back and then some. They are SCUMLORDS. Trust me, or don't & go through the hell we did.
