We moved to San Antonio almost a year ago now to attend UTSA, and thought this apartment would be the perfect location for it since it is only a few minutes away from campus and everything else. We were WRONG. Upon our move in, our apartment was FILTHY. we mopped 6 times before the water finally ran clear, the water was black. I vacuumed my room multiple times before I stopped picking up dog hair (we don't have a dog, it was from the previous people living in the unit). It was very clear to me everything in this apartment was dirty and out of date. Within the first week of moving into our apartment, the AC was already broken. Since living here for about 10 months, I can tell you this is not the place you want to move into. We have had multiple leaks (under the sink, the toilet, the dishwasher, the washer). We have roaches that the management does not care to take care of. The "valet" trash that you are REQUIRED to pay $30 dollars a month for, will maybe come once a week. they will knock over your trash can and leave them on the floor. They will drip trash juice all over the hallways that will never get cleaned. The hallways are absolutely disgusting. The property is not nice or clean, the pool is dirty constantly, the gym is dirty and most equipment is always broken. The mailboxes get broken into and you will get your mail stolen constantly. Do not even get me started on the parking situation. On the side of the apartments we live in, there is nowhere near enough parking for all of the residents. You will have to park a mile away from your actual unit. Again, your unit will be dirty when you move in. they do NOT clean the unit before you arrive. The paint jobs give "the landlord special". They paint over HAIRS in the bathroom. There's cracks all in the walls, and the paint peels off everywhere. There’s mold growing all along the window sills and in the vents. Save your money, and move into somewhere a little farther from UTSA. I promise you it's not worth it to live that close but have to deal with such poor conditions for such a high price.
