If I could give 0 stars I would. Where should I start. When I first moved in, back in January 2023, my apartment didn’t have hot water on the first night. Then later that summer, my AC went out and didn’t have AC for July and August. Then this year, there was a sprinkler burst and it flooded part of my apartment which caused for the walls and ceilings to be torn out. My apartment was unlivable during that time, which lasted 2 months, and I had to stay elsewhere. The manager, knew of this condition and did nothing to reimburse me or did not show any remorse. Because they had blowers and dehumidifiers going 24/7, my electric bill was over $200 and I HAD TO PAY FOR IT. I asked for a simple discount on my rent because AGAIN MY APARTMENT WAS UNLIVABLE FOR TWO MONTHS. They denied this simple request.
Lastly, be prepared to pay $60 for a reserved spot just have someone else park there with NO repercussions.

I just moved in and I absolutely love my apartment and the amenities, but the move in process was less than desirable. It took about ten days to get all of the approvals for the apartment. During these ten days it was also useless to make a phone call as no one ever answers, and I had to actually drive up there several times to ask questions and inquire about the status, although that was pretty much fruitless as well. Then on top of everything, I couldn’t see my unit until the day I moved in because they were supposedly getting it ready, except yesterday when I went to go in they had not replaced the batteries in the lock and I couldn’t get in, and my AC has now not worked for two days and no one has come to fix it. Also I took a bath, and water is leaking from the bottom of my tub. Hoping for the best for the rest of my rental experience.

I had a great experience living here. The apartments are tucked away in a quiet, safe area, which was a huge plus. The appearance of the building and units is really well-kept, and I loved the amenities. The pool and gym were always in great condition and perfect for relaxing or getting a workout in. The staff was also incredibly helpful and responsive whenever I needed anything. Overall, it’s a peaceful and comfortable place to live with great facilities!

AVOID AT ALL COST! We visited & the front desk lady wouldn't even show us apartments, we had to use a self service & even then she wouldn't let us see the apartments. Then she gave us a code to see 2 aparmtents that were already rented out. Aparently they have some major maintenance issues, unsteady foundations. Left a message to get a call back through email and text and phone, NO REPSONSE! RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! THANK ME LATER!!

I didn’t end up moving here, but Landie was kind and the property is beautiful, with woods behind the buildings. They take mold seriously by putting water sensors near all water sources. That’s a good sign of taking care of their buildings and tenants.
Landie was fun and great at answering the questions about the property and maintenance. She’s very helpful and gets things done!
The only downside is Hickory Creek uses a third-party app for applications (like most apartments now) with remote workers that are difficult to get answers if you have questions —so I recommend asking in person with Landie exactly what proof of verification and proof of income info and what *format* is needed before paying the application fee.
I was in a time crunch so I went with a different apartment where the 3rd party application process was easier.
