We were definitely fooled by all the fancy marketing images and videos when we leased this apartment… We had to move out of our original unit here just 3 months into the lease when pipes started bursting all over our building and lead to our kitchen being flooded from the apartment above us. The leasing office told us they weren’t even planning to replace the dry wall that had been completely soaked through on the ceiling so we asked to be let out of the lease, they refused but instead offered us to move into the same unit in a different building (a maintenance man later let slip that our new unit had similar flooding from the ceiling before they even leased to tenants a year prior)At first it was okay there until we started to realize how rampant the domestic disturbances were in this complex. We would see drunken fights, reckless stunt driving in the parking lot, toddlers abandoned without adult supervision for extended periods of time in their 3 foot tall gated “yards”, and excessively loud music on the regular. Even though it’s a “smoke-free” community there was cigarette and weed usage all over the complex everyday, as someone with severe asthma this was really upsetting because we chose this complex partly due to it being advertised as “smoke-free”. The electrical was so bad in our apartment that the breaker would regularly get kicked off if you tried to use the washing machine and dryer at the same time. A few months before our lease ended we found out a neighbor who we shared a wall with had such a severe mold infestation from burst pipes that weren’t repaired properly (like our original unit would have been too) that they had to break their lease and leave. We tried getting premium air filters for our AC unit and then the AC stopped working. The maintenance guy told us the AC units are so crappy that it can’t handle anything thicker than the cheapest see-through filters that don’t catch anything otherwise it gets overloaded. Other things to note: you are forced to pay for Fetch delivery service but it just turns all your deliveries into a nightmare so almost no one on property uses it even though we are forced to pay monthly. We also were supposed to have valet trash but every single week at least once on the pick-up days the trash would not be picked up for anyone at all. And they would regularly leave half our trash behind - management tried to say later that it was a one bag maximum policy but it literally doesn’t say that anywhere on their own valet trash info sheet. The carpeted outdoor hallways were almost always dirty unless it was the 1st floor and the elevators nearly always had gross spills on the floor. Plus the highway being so close made it loud there even in the middle of the night you’d still hear loud sounds from the highway. Overall this was a horrible place to live and I’m so grateful that we got out of there! For being a brand new place and being priced at how high it is, it is outrageous the amount of issues there were with the units and the quality of living while we were here.

I lived at Heritage Towers for two years and enjoyed my experience. I did not have the best experience when I first moved in, but there was a change in management which shifted things for the better. Otherwise, the leasing staff is very responsive, they communicated very well if there was anything going on via email. There's plenty of parking, the gym is nice, and the pool is nice as well. My favorite part about living here was being able to walk the walking trail.
