Before moving in, I explored other places, but none offered the warmth and sense of family I feel here.
If I had to sum it up?

After relocating to Dallas for a new job, the Glass House by Windsor was one of the locations I was offered to stay with my two pets during my 60 day window between relocating and moving into a new home.
The PROS:
Front desk staff (weekday, weekend, however overnight was not as good) was incredibly friendly and helpful.
Maintenence team - unbelievably friendly and enthusiastic about helping.
The CONS:
About 30 days into my stay, it became apparent that there was a leak emminating somewhere in the walls, or underneath the floor, that caused small wet spots in the flooring througout the entire apartment. I flagged this as a concern (to the weekend overnight front desk person) with zero follow up. About a week or two later, my unit was completely flooded to the point of danger, when a floor based utility box was sparking, smoking and sizzling, FULL of water. Thank goodness my two pets knew to stay away, otherwise its likely they would be electrocuted. I alerted the front desk staff at this point that there was a MAJOR concern, showed him video of what was going on, and the Maintenence team was called (it was after hours.). I was visited about 40 mins later to assess the situation and work through some solutions - one of which was completely removing the outlet and just leaving capped off wires, to ensure no one got shocked. He worked to find the solve through the next few days, but to no avail, the leak kept coming.
I was not offered any concession by the building for the inconvenience, and by the time word got to my relocation team, it was 5 days out of my move to my new place, so I declined moving out of this unit as it was such a short time before I was departing.
I attempted to contact the GM of the property on numerous occasions, but was never responded to. I will say the front desk and maintenence teams kept checking in on me, which is the one bright spot of my experience.
Overall, I would be reluctant to encourage anyone to move into this building given my experience. Super dissappointing.

5 stars for the concierge team Jesse, Kerry, Tamika, Ms. V! They're approachable, friendly, and helpful! Most of all, starting my morning or ending my night with seeing them really completes my day. And I appreciate the 24h concierge service.
Also, 5 stars for the quick maintenance team which includes Hampton and Jonathan. They're replaced my faucet, microwave, batteries, and etc efficiently. They even give me helpful tips.
I've lived at other Windsors, and this one is unique and my favorite. You can't beat the industrial vibe of the concrete walls and views. Elevators are also fast.
We've lived her for 4 years now, and I'm not sure we want to buy a home anytime soon. Also, can't beat the walkability to a grocery store, bank, several local coffee shops, Flower Child, a British bar, a department store, and the Katy Trail. Living here really helps with my work life balance.

Lived here for 4 years and just moved out. I enjoyed my time for the most part and would recommend it, although I do have some criticisms.
As far as the staff goes, I never had any problems. All the employees from leasing, maintenance, and the front desk were very kind and helpful when I needed them.
The biggest issue is the price and what you get for it. In my opinion you are primarily paying for the location, which is phenomenal, but the facility itself is not up to par with some of the other apartments in the same price bracket.
Part of this is because its older than a lot of the new builds in the area, and the age is starting to show.
For example, one thing that always irritated me was the state of the parking garage. It's dimly lit and very dirty, some of the pipes in the ceiling leak water, and there is no security cameras anywhere (I got my catalytic converter stolen from my car the first year I lived there but I won't blame them).
This may seem trivial but when I visit my friend's similarly priced apartment in the same area, and their parking is clean, lit with bright LED's and has security cameras, it makes you wonder.
This goes for other parts of the building too. Like the elevators which are all dinged up and constantly breaking, the appliances which are older and gave me issues, the hallway carpets which are stained, the gym AC which was out for like a month at one point. It's a lot of little things that add up, I'm not even mentioning half of what broke in the building/my apartment over my period of residence.
They did do some renovations over the years mainly in common areas like the lobby and pool, but the building still needs a lot of work to compare with the newer and more attractive apartments in the area.
Despite these criticisms, I was willing to overlook most of it because I enjoyed the location so much. You are close to great restaurants, the Katy Trail, offices, the toll road etc., and in general its just a nice part of town. Depending on what side of the building you are on, the view is also pretty great. I also really liked the gym which was another big selling point for me.
All in all I have no regrets about living there.
