I moved into my unit expecting a clean and comfortable living space, but unfortunately that has not been my experience. Within days of moving in, I started noticing fleas inside my apartment and I don’t even have pets. On top of that, there’s a family of raccoons living near my building, which has made the environment feel unsafe and uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this is not the only issue I’ve had since living here. These problems should have been addressed before handing over the keys, and I hope management takes immediate action to resolve them for current and future residents. When I moved in, there was already a hole in my roof over the patio. Management has told me multiple times they would fix it, but nothing has been done. The office will get your hopes up, but if it’s something maintenance can’t fix themselves, you’ll be waiting forever for a contractor and no set date will ever be given. I do want to say the maintenance team is great for what they can handle, but relying on the office to follow through on bigger repairs is a long and frustrating process. I wanted to share my experience regarding a serious flea issue in my apartment. When I reported it, the office sent pest control to do a fogger only. From my understanding, a fogger masks the problem rather than truly treating an infestation. The technician didn’t even have the pest control company name on his truck, which felt unprofessional. Since the fogger, I’ve continued to see fleas, even on my bed, making it nearly impossible to sleep. I communicated this to the office and expressed how this has impacted my mental and physical well-being, including causing stress and hives. I was told “I have to wait 7 days” and that I essentially have to deal with it. I understand treatments can get worse before they improve, but this approach has been incredibly frustrating and inadequate for addressing what is a real infestation. Updated pictures of fleas I had to catch near my bed. Also forgot to mention how they gave me a unit with a hole on my patio roof. I’ve reported this multiple times to the office, yet no action has been taken to secure the hole or address the root cause of the fleas. For anyone considering moving here, be aware! There are serious pest issues that are not being properly handled.
