DO NOT MOVE HERE!? If I could I would give it zero starts. I’m warning you to not waste your time at this apartment complex. The application process was quick and easy. Application got accepted in less than a day and the apartments had deals going on. However, the apartment had on the lease for the first month’s rent that it would be $873 and on the day of move in they charged us $1,077. We tried to argue on the extra charges since we had already paid the security deposit, but management was rude about it so we just paid it. We were told because so many people had moved out. We didn’t know why at the time till we got our apartment on July 9th. We came into the apartment not even being clean after the last residents and with the apartment infested with roaches. Not to mention lots of damage throughout the whole apartment. I talked with the office and was told that the damage I was seeing is just wear and tear. But from what I saw in that apartment. It was far from that. I had called the next day to speak to a manager (Ray) and was given attitude by telling me that there are no other units for me to be transferred too and that I would be responsible for both that apartment and a new unit they would transfer me too. I had told the manager that the roaches were so bad that I did pest control measures myself and was yelled at not to do that because it will attract more roaches. He went himself and saw all the damage and said it would be replaced by the end of the day which it was not. The maintenance guy came for 2 mins to look at something and then left and never came back. I had called the office again to complain and they still offered to do nothing. Forcing me to just cancel my lease with them. And luckily before I moved any of my stuff into that apartment. I turned over my keys that day and was told I would be receiving a check in the mail after 30 days. Please do save your self a headache instead of having to dealing with roaches and find a better apartment. The unit they had put me in was #626 if anyone ends up moving into that unit. Good luck to anyone who still decides to move here❤️

I've had an awesome experience living at Collin Creek Apartments! The location is super convenient—close to shopping, restaurants, and easy access to highways. The apartments are spacious and well-kept, and the community is quiet and clean.
The staff is amazing—always friendly and quick to help with anything. Maintenance is on top of things and super fast whenever you need something fixed.
The amenities are a nice bonus too! The pool is great in the summer, the gym is solid, and there are plenty of pet-friendly areas. If you're looking for a comfortable, hassle-free place to live in Plano, I highly recommend Collin Creek!

Management is a disaster and always seems to be on a power trip. Our tub has had a crack since we moved in and they keep patching it, but it keeps spreading. The whole thing needs to be gutted and replaced. The support beams under the shower/tub combo seem to have rotted away. We're on the top floor and the unit below started complaining about mold and water leakage coming from under our bathroom and it still wasn't repaired. I'm not sure if our neighbors moved on their own accord because of this or if they just got placed into a different unit. The floors throughout our unit have weak spots where you literally hear the tiles beneath the carpet rubbing up against each other. (Yes, it seems as if they just laid carpet on top of the previous floor.) Other soft spots in the floor sag so much it feels as if you're going to fall through.
They're always adding rules and not notifying people. Your quoted rent price does NOT include all of the added fees they'll tack on. (You split water with all the other units in the building, so if your neighbor is filling up a bunch of 55gal drums you'll be paying for it, the water the maintenance crew uses while in the building, and your own split amongst the units.) Not to mention that the laundry mat was closed for "renovation" for nearly the entire first year that we were here and who knows how long before that. (The "new" machines are worse than what you'd find at a Motel 6.) Also, you could throw a dart at a calender and still get a 50/50 chance on whether or not the pool or gym is actually open and running.
Pics for reference on the latest rules update that we were notified of.

I’ve been living in this apartment for 4 years, but ever since I notified management that this would be my last lease (ending in three months), their service has completely changed. I’ve had a maintenance request open for over four weeks now — my refrigerator is not working at all and my kitchen sink is completely clogged. Despite multiple follow-ups, no one has come to fix it or even checked in on me. It honestly feels like they just don’t care anymore since they know I’m leaving. Extremely disappointed with how things turned out. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you expect decent maintenance or customer care, especially toward the end of your lease.

As a resident of 5 years, I’m deeply disappointed with the current management at Collin Creek Apartments. I applied for another unit, paid the application fee, and asked to view the unit more than 5 times over 10 days. Every time I was told different excuses and never allowed to see it.
I ended up canceling my application due to their unprofessional behavior, lack of transparency, and disrespect toward long-term residents. The previous managers were much better.
