We have been exceptionally happy with our stay here at Century…our apt has a beautiful view of the trail area…the grounds are well kept and the maintenance staff is always working to keep things squared away! Whenever there has been an issue that’s needed attention we have never had to wait more than 24 hrs for it to be resolved! The office staff has always been incredibly helpful and a special shout out to Alice, who has been an absolute champ! She truly cares for the residents and the property and has always gone above and beyond! Knowing she’s taking care of things here is one of the main reasons for our continued stay! We love it here!

I’ve been a happy resident at Century Lake Highlands, and I have to say Alice truly goes above and beyond for both the residents and the property. I’ve never had a bad experience with her. The office staff and maintenance team are always helpful and responsive, which makes living here a positive experience.
Honestly, I’m caught off guard by some of the negative reviews I’ve seen. From my experience, it seems like those must be retaliation for their own bad behavior, because my time here has been nothing but positive.
Of course, property management can only do so much, it’s also up to residents to report suspicious activity or issues. It can be frustrating when some residents don’t pick up after their pets or fail to report them, especially when this leads to damages in breezeways or inside units. New tenants shouldn’t have to deal with those problems caused by previous renters. I appreciate that the property holds residents accountable and issues fines when necessary, because it helps keep the community fair and enjoyable for everyone.
Overall, I’m very thankful for Alice and her team. As long as they remain on the property, I’ll happily continue to renew my lease.

I truly love living here! The peace of having a nature trail right outside my patio is unmatched — it makes coming home feel relaxing every single day. The office staff has never ceased to help me, especially Alice, who always goes above and beyond. My unit’s space is perfect for me, and I really appreciate how clean the pool and gym always are. It’s clear the team takes pride in maintaining the community. I’m genuinely happy to call this place home.

recently moved into an apartment at Century Lake Highlands, and my experience so far has been deeply disappointing and concerning — especially as a parent of two young children.
When I moved in, the apartment had not been cleaned. The unit was visibly dirty, with unpainted walls and filthy cabinets. I had to clean the entire apartment myself using strong cleaners like Clorox just to make it livable. Despite informing the office, nothing meaningful has been done to address the conditions. Instead, they offered to repaint while I was already living in the apartment with my children — which is completely unacceptable and unsafe.
Multiple things inside the apartment are not functioning, and I’m now living in an environment that feels neglected and unsafe. On top of that, there were bugs on my patio and near my door, which is affecting my health.
Parking has been another major issue. At night, it’s nearly impossible to find a nearby space, and residents are forced to walk a long distance — often in the dark due to poor lighting. This is especially unsafe when you have children. In my case, visitors are given priority over residents when it comes to parking near the building. I was even threatened with towing if I parked in visitor parking just to safely access my home — despite being a paying tenant who is always on time with rent.
I brought all these concerns to the attention of the property manager, but unfortunately, they have shown no care or willingness to help. The lack of response and accountability is unacceptable.
I cannot recommend Century Lake Highlands to anyone, especially families with children. I do not feel safe, and I regret moving here. It’s been only a week, and I’m already incredibly disappointed with the way things are being handled.
I have photos documenting the condition of the apartment and the unsafe surroundings, and I’m prepared to share them with local housing authorities if necessary.

I’ve tried to just move on and out without making a review but now I have to I moved here in September 11th 2021 moved out September 7th 2024. I loved this apartment the first 2 years but year 3 was a complete nightmare from downstairs neighbors being musicians to upstairs neighbors just constantly keeping up noise hence why I moved. Today I get a call from a collection agency of a “move out” balance carpet cleaning and other fees because “they send us a bill and we send it out” ok cool but I also got a charge for trash being left I personally would like proof of a picture but there’s no evidence of that of course not because I completely moved on the 7th and turned my keys in and took photos ! Furthermore my ceiling water damaged twice in the last year do you think the second time before I moved they even bothered to paint over it.. absolutely not but I have move out charges of 15 and 20 dollar for water and sewer when the whole time I lived there for an entire month it was never that much and also if I paid rent on the first-third how do I have a trash, sewer, and water charge from 8/3/24 to 9/10/24 ? I still get notifications and emails til this day about these apartments but nobody could email me about a outstanding “move out charge” til collections called today and it January all I got was we mailed it but yall email everything else. Now where do yall see trash that had to be took out ?? Or the stove that needed cleaning the new tenant could’ve moved in right after me if we’re being honest but I guess that’s just how the cookie crumbles smh .
