I’ve been a resident here for 3 years, and this property has completely fallen apart due to incompetent and unresponsive management. Seven weeks ago, one of their landscapers hit my bedroom window with a rock while mowing, shattering it. My bedroom is on the first floor next to a pet station, and since then, I’ve been unable to sleep in my room because I feel unsafe.
I’ve contacted the office repeatedly, escalated to the area manager and regional manager, and explained this is a serious safety and security issue. Their response? Excuse after excuse: “The window was ordered… vendors changed… now it’s been ordered again.” It’s been 7 weeks of going in circles and nothing has been fixed.
I even asked for at least some sort of compensation since I can’t use my own bedroom because I feel unsafe at night, but they ignored my request.
The property manager is the worst part of living here. She is rude and unprofessional every time you contact her. She treats residents as if we’re inconveniencing her for asking for basic help, and multiple recent reviews confirm this same attitude just scroll down.
The property itself is falling apart:
- Landscaping is negligent. They spray weed killer instead of edging properly, which killed all the grass in my backyard—even though I pay an extra $150/month for backyard maintenance. I’ve added before-and-after pictures showing how green the grass was after heavy rain compared to now, and you can even see the clear line where the landscapers sprayed the weed killer.
- Hallways are constantly dirty from leaking trash bags
- Dog stations are overflowing with poop and never picked up, creating a foul odor that spreads to the parking lot.
- Trash pickup happens at midnight (12–1 AM), yet residents are fined if bins aren’t brought in early the next morning—while actual problems are ignored.
- Fitness center benches are torn and worn out.
- A massive oil stain near my apartment has attracted flies for weeks. The regional manager promised it would be cleaned, but nothing has happened
- My broken bedroom window still hasn’t been fixed after 7 weeks—I’ve added a picture of this to show their lack of urgency.
- I was previously towed right in front of the garage I rent for $175/month and forced to pay a $285 fee, despite reporting it to management—who offered no help or accountability.
This is NOT how an apartment community should be run. Safety and Security concerns are ignored, maintenance is nonexistent, and the property manager’s attitude makes it worse. They are not about taking care of or helping residents they only care about revenue. I gladly can say I can’t wait to move out. Good luck to anyone else who chooses to live here, you’ll need it.

first off i would like to say, giving 1 star is being generous. i lived there for a year and could not get out faster. Management was very unprofessional, gates are always broken, dog poop everywhere, the pool was always closed & there is never any parking for visitors or for the people who lived there. We were paying over $100 for trash for god knows what, and they would do trash pick up in the middle of the night. They would also drop bags of trash to the ground from the 3rd floor. People had their dogs off the leash and would come up to my back gate and poop everywhere. Not to mention their dogs would come up to my gate bothering my dog. Walls are paper thin. i could hear my neighbors TV from my living room. Our kitchen drawers were broken from the time we moved in, submitted maintenance request just to have them not fixed. highly would not recommend. we have already moved out and we are getting notifications that we owe rent to a place we no longer have access to.

The apartments are nice; however, the management and service are terrible. The gates broke down more than 3 months ago, and nobody has bothered to fix them, so they stayed open 24/7 for 3 months. A few weeks ago, cars were broken into, and more than 10 cars had their windows smashed and everything stolen. My entire SUV was crashed into, and I had to pay $2,500 for the damage, and all management says is, “We don’t have cameras, and we can’t be held responsible.”
We pay more than $2,000 in rent for their only answer to be, “We don’t have cameras, and we can’t be held responsible” when there should be cameras everywhere. They never answer the phone in the office, nobody resolves your questions, and it takes them weeks to fix any issue you have in the apartment.
On top of that, they never clean the hallways, especially the ones on the lower levels. They are filthy, full of trash, cockroaches, and all kinds of pests.
Now I see why there are so many units left unoccupied.
If you’re thinking of moving here, DON’T DO IT.

BEAUTIFUL AREA! This is a really nice side of town but this property isn't the best option in the area. There are other properties near the RIM that will give you more bang for your buck (ie more closets and storage space, additional studio rooms, reasonably priced covered parking, cleaner dog park, better security, safer parking lot - There are accidents in the parking lot).
I found it very stressful living here. My car was broken into once in my third year of living here. I also saw many trucks have their tires stolen. Trucks are targeted in this area. The gate is often broken but even when it isn't it's fairly easy to walk in. I lived here for 3 years so I've been on the property since it opened back in 2017. I agree with some of the other reviews - the walls are very thin, and the hallways, stairwells, and landscaping could be better maintained. Not sure why they have begun digging out the flower beds to replace them with rocks (not real dog friendly.)
The Fees Can Be A Little Steep:
To keep the community clean they started DNA testing the dogs in the community. Fees for not picking up are - $350 first offense, $450 second offense, eviction third offense. They will tell you the fee used to be lower but that is not true - first offense was 350 dollars when they initially introduced the policy.
"If we receive 3 photos from one resident that result in successful fines you will be awarded a $25 gift card."
Since COV-19 hit - apparently the fear of fines has stopped working the way management had hoped. Now they are offering $25 gift cards to anyone who helps catch the offenders by sending in pictures/ videos of the resident not picking up after their pet. If it takes other's surveillance to keep the community clean - fine, so be it.
Better late than never on this one - it's taken 3 years for them to address the speeding issue. This month (April 2020) they finally did! They've added a speeding fine. 50 for the first time, then 250, then eviction. Much more reasonable than the pet fine. Was happy to see that. Hopefully in the future they will see the only way to truly slow people down will be to remove the option to speed all together (I've mentioned this to the office recently - in the two years I've lived here I've seen no efforts to add speed bumps. Will update if things change.) Major oversight by the complex. Back side of complex does not have any sidewalk so if you're walking you've gotta do it in the street.
To keep the Gym organized they've started charging fines. If equipment is found left out cameras will be reviewed and the resident will be charged $50 per item. I don't use the gym often but I'm sure that motivated people to rack their weights when they are finished.
This is also a large community with a small pool area in comparison. You can only bring 3 guest with you to the pool and everyone has to wear wrist bands. I never had pool days with my friends here simply cause we couldn't all go.
Unless you are dead set on the view, consider looking elsewhere. You can get a better value in a safer place.

Leave, don’t rent here and don’t think twice.
The management is terrible. I’ve never encountered so much attitude from a staff of an apartment complex in my life. Svea needs to be fired.
First things first, we’ve already moved out and we keep getting notifications that we owe rent to a place we no longer have access to. On top of that, some of the emails are saying they’ve lost all the data to who owns a garage or carport so its a free for all at this point.
Pool is always closed because people come in without bands during after office hours and trash the place. But when my roommate and I took our friends one day, svea came out screaming with attitude “if you don’t have your pool bands you need to leave.” We tried to tell her we lived there but she would not have it. For the amount of money we paid for that place the least we expected (on our only day off of work) was to not be interrupted by some lady who obviously thinks she’s above everyone.
Our kitchen drawers were broken from the beginning, we submitted a maintenance request and they never properly fixed it.
Gates are always broken, to the point of either being completely shut or completely open for anyone to go in.
Parking before AND after their system was installed is terrible! Never any parking near our building, have had to park a few buildings down multiple times. Don’t even get me started on the towing. Even with our cars registered, I’ve gotten my car towed, my roommates moms car towed, my fathers car towed, the list goes on and on. It was a nightmare.
And then there’s the fees. I’ve never seen an apartment charge so many things in my life. For some reason we were getting charged AT LEAST $100 for TRASH. The amenities and landscape fees were for what? Because the amenities were always trashed and the landscape was filled with dog shit and dirt or rocks. Waste of money.
Speaking of dog shit, we lived in a sub-level for my roommates dog, the other dog owners would take their dogs to shit right next to our back gate and just leave it there. Disgusting.
I say again, for the amount of money you spend on this place, you’d expect better. Find better. Don’t rent here. Don’t waste your time, money, or sanity.
