PLEASE READ BEFORE COMING HERE ! By far the WORST place i’ve ever lived in my life. When we first moved in , it was nice because no one lived there yet. But once the community started filling up , it went to crap. The smell of marijuana fills the air daily. Theres crazy lady (and her family) who yell at children in the park, threatening them, resulting in the police being called but of course nothing gets done about it. Police and Probabtion officers practically live on site. There isn’t a night there that you don’t see them racing in the gates or coming in with their bullet proof vests, doing house checks. The AC was ALWAYS breaking. Oh and they started accepting section 8 vouchers recently, which also wasn’t part of my lease agreement. Residences are paying mortage payments to live in section 8 communities without any choice because they signed a lease prior to being informed that this was even a possibility. My power went out in my unit and when i reached out to maintenance they tried to blame me for the power being out , claiming it was because of my wall decor, come to find out it was a wiring issue on THIER END. Once they fixed the wiring issue i was told by CPS since there was a wiring issue my bill was negligent $600! That’s not my fault. The sink was always leaking. The pool is always dirty. The trash bins once got so incredibly over filled , it was piling over the walls used to hide the bins and all around the area as well. There’s dog poop everywhere , you smell it as soon as you reach downstairs. I’ve talked to other neighbors and they all have the same complaints or similar. I tried reaching out to office staff numerous times and i always get the go around or no answer at all. the only way they seem respond is when someone writes one of these reviews. I even reached out to their corporate office and still got no response. I guess i see where they get their professional training from. Anyways, i GLADLY broke our lease and i know a handful of others who are right behind me. And as if i hadn’t reached out enough expressing my ignored issues , they labeled my move out reason as “financial problems” LOL , they can argue that with my lawyer. If it’s one thing anyone takes from this review, it’s to turn around and run FAR AWAY from The Residences at Landon Ridge.
