I felt welcome by the management. They are also very helpful. My small apartment looks great. Looking forward to getting to know the community. Just moved in. It has a nature feel to it as well.

DON’T LIVE HERE.
Incompetent and negligent “management”. When I moved in 4 years ago, it wasn’t nearly so bad! Please avoid this apartment complex and every other complex owned by GreyStar. I’m so happy to never see or attempt to work with these people again.
- buildings are deteriorating and moldy.
- trash is constantly overflowing through the halls, parking lot, and grounds.
- maintenance does not actually fix anything, and they dirty up your space. They also leave your door unlocked. They also bring in “3rd parties” so that they are not to blame for anything. And for some fixes, they require you to completely leave your apartment for multiple days, which is very dangerous considering that they do not lock the door and allow 3rd parties access.
- neighbors smoke cigarettes, weed, etc, and it comes in through the vents. They will not do anything about this even though we pay extra for a non-smoking unit.
- the front desk sends your phone calls straight to voicemail if you are a resident, meaning that if you have any issues you have to go into the office where they will dismiss you or send you on a goose chase. This is especially ridiculous when there is an emergency, like burst pipes (which the maintenance workers themselves say happens at least monthly because the pipes and fixtures are deteriorated) and dryer vent fires (because they have not been properly cleaned).
- the Amazon delivery boxes are either jammed closed or open, leaving your deliveries unguarded.
- they don’t keep record of anything. I had been paying for a covered parking spot regularly- then they gave it to someone else and threatened to tow my car.
- they REALLY don’t keep record of anything. When asking for paperwork to finally move out, they replied that they “don’t do paperwork” and nearly kept us from finalizing our loan for our house. It took 8 phone calls from us, and multiple phone calls from our loan officer to finally get any documentation from them.
- every conversation with the desk, especially with April, is useless. She seems nice but cannot do her job and never follows through.

If I could give this place a 0/5 I would. I never actually moved into this place because the apartment I was intended to lease was anything but move in ready. The window in the bedroom was not ever attached, if anyone wanted to they could have pushed it I. Through the outside with ease. The sinks in both the kitchen and bathroom were leaking, and the area under the sink was growing mold. The fridge was missing the handle. The laundry room door was not even attached to the rollers. I went to return to the office before they closed so I could let them know; however, even though their door says they close at 6pm, they actually close at 5:30 and the manager will sit in their office and look at you knocking on the door as well as calling.
I returned the next day to let them know I did not feel safe moving into this apartment. When I brought the issues up to the office before moving my things in, I was taken back to the apartment with the maintenance man. He suggested he could simply paint over the mold in the kitchen. He also admitted to knowing that the laundry room door and fridge where messed up, but he simple had no control over them getting fixed because he hired contractors. When my mom brought up the unsafe window situation, he replied he never knows who will move into a place so, it wasn’t a concern of his. He also informed us that he had only two weeks since the previous tenants had moved out to try and fix things, and he said he was unaware someone would be moving into that apartment insisting the issues were because of a lack of communication with the office. When I stated I had placed the deposit on that apartment two months prior for the exact day I was supposed to move in, he didn’t have anything else to say.
Finally after some back and forth with this man, we returned to the office where I again stated I did not feel safe moving into this complex, the manager agreed to refund me my money and informed me I’d get an email ten days later with how to be refunded my money. It has now been over ten business days and I have yet to receive an email. When calling the office for answers the manager has conveniently step out for the day at 4pm.
****P.S. they also take photos of your social security cards.
**** UPDATE- as of March 27th I received my refund after calling and emailing their corporate office. Also, the comment below says they’ll reach out, but it’s been radio silence.

This review is strictly from first impressions. When I walked into the leasing office I was not greeted. Both Larissa, the leasing agent, and Kristen, the manager, were busy with other guest so I patiently waited for either one to finish. The manager finished first, however, I still was not acknowledged. So again, I waited. Larissa got up to show her guest an apartment, the apartment I was interested in checking out (I over heard their conversation) then finally acknowledged me with a “yes ma’am”. I told her I was a future applicant looking to lease an apt. She then told me she would assist when she got back. By that time another gentleman walked in and was immediately acknowledged by Kristen, the manager. I sat and waited again. Kristen finally finished with the gentleman then decide to ask if I needed assistance. I told her what I was looking for and she immediately told me they didn’t have any available to view that day. However, Larissa was out showing the same apartment Kristen said was not available! I believe, from my experience, that these apartments have discriminatory leasing practices.

If it wasn’t for a girl, I’d be staying. Kristen was the best, truly listened and was there as a friend and real person. Not just someone checking boxes doing their job. Maintenance guys are slammed, but will go out of their way when you need it. Such an awesome place to live, thank you for the memories Siena! Rea you’re awesome too.
