UPDATED*** (7/6) (PLEASE READ) Roaches, Roaches Roaches! If you want to share a home with roaches come spend your hard earned rent money here at Shiloh Oaks! I really wish I would have paid more attention to other google reviews before I moved into this disgusting apartment as they too show this apartment has a serious roach problem. I'm home most days and I have not once seen a pest control person spraying anything or maintenance doing anything to help with pest. When I moved into my apartment in November it was disgusting, filled with bugs, both patios were dirty. I had to spend my own money to fight of hordes of wasps and yellow jackets. If you live on the back of the property with apartment bordering the creek good luck getting on your patio when the temperature is above 70 degrees, the wasp and yellow jackets are out of control once again to highlight the pest issue here at Shiloh oaks. The front office people are decent but that's really it. I feel like they don't really care about the residents or these issues would be fixed. The walls here are paper thin, you can hear every dog barking, every conversation someone is having outside. People are always blasting music past quiet times at 11pm. This apartment complex seems old and mismanaged, lots of cracks in concrete, old stair cases barely holding on for life. This place is nasty and I have had a roach crawl on me in my sleep and that has made it hard for me to sleep!! literal bed bugs!! Updated: The bug issue had gotten better since new management has taken over but there are still baby roaches and other bugs in the apartment unfortunately, And one roach is too many roaches. A lot of it probably has to do with the fact that they don’t really police trash pickup and nobody in the apartment unfortunately has any type of etiquette to pick up their own trash. If you have a complaint for any reason good luck getting it fixed with the leasing office they do not care. I have been battling with a noise complaint for months now with no resolve. Maintenance request take 4 days to fill. I had to wait 4 days for a request that took the maintenance guy 5 seconds to fix. Had I known that my issue was so small I would have fixed it myself. Most of the time the maintenance workers are off driving in the golf cart or just doing unnecessary stuff around the property when their residents are suffering without toilets and AC, There is always something broke in the apartment! Whether is the AC unit or the power or the water something is always up here and then when it does break you have to wait almost a week for the maintenance guys to come fix it. Parking is still an issue, cars that dont move that have been here since I’ve been here riddle the parking lots. They also won’t come change the air filter unless you beg them to do so. Just spend your own money and get the filter yourself. No need to wait on the lazy maintenance workers to come change the already moldy air filter. There are so much better options out there. Don’t come and spend your money here. This place is disgraceful.
