The absolute best part of living here was Andrew, the maintenance lead, and his crew. They were always friendly, professional, and incredibly responsive truly the backbone of the property. Anytime I had an issue, they were quick to resolve it and always did so with a positive attitude. Their work ethic and genuine care really stood out and made a big difference in my experience.
Unfortunately, the front office staff didn’t provide the same level of service. They often came across as unapproachable, and interactions felt more like an inconvenience than a helpful exchange. One ongoing issue was the lack of a self-serve business office or resident printers/scanners which many apartments in Fort Worth or larger cities offer. If you needed to print anything, you had to wait until a staff member was available and during business hours and it often felt like you were being a bother just for asking.
Overall, the maintenance team gets five stars, but the management side could really benefit from improved customer service so I concur with the other tenants, maintenance is top notch.

Mason+mill is by far the worst apartment establishment in the state of Texas. This “luxury” apartment complex is simply poor craftsmanship. We have lived here for 15 months and on day one of moving in there was water all the way down the living room wall and all over the ceiling since we were on the 4th floor it was coming in the roof. Rather than letting us know there was a problem and that we should wait to get it fixed they just painted over the water spots. As you can imagine the first storm we had the water stains returned. Following this we had them “fix the problem” long story short it’s been painted over 5 times and the ceiling continues to leak and there’s a new leak in the bedroom. Just simply walking through the buildings you’ll realize whoever built the place just through it together. You will not find a single wall in the entire complex that is straight. 2 walls in just our apartment alone are bowed and our island is not only unleveled, but also crooked. If you put anything that rolls on any surface in that apartment it will roll to one side. They will fine you for anything that they can think of, find random fees to add into your bills and never answer your phone when you call the front desk. Much like other reviews they have very rude front desk staff. They have a “strict” no smoking rule and as a non smoker I really enjoy that. Except that every hallway smells like weed in an enclosed building complex and they do nothing about it. The complex has you register your vehicle to “keep people out” that don’t belong there. However the gates are often broken and all they really do with you registering your vehicle is slap big stickers on your windshield if your registration is out by 5 minutes. Part of the goal of the towing program is to keep people from having junk vehicles. In our 15 months there has been a totaled white Lexus RX suv that sat with a smashed front end, 4 flat tires and leaked oil all over the parking. It didn’t move for 12 months until they started it and moved it a few spaces over. To summarize maintenance will do whatever it takes to get to closing time without having to actually fix anything, the “luxurious apartment” is mediocre at best and is cheaply put together, the front desk staff couldn’t care less if you were on the face of the earth, the owner will charge you for everything under the sun in fees, they make you think $1670 is your total monthly rent. Then they add $300 worth of fees and make you pay with credit card and then charge you $70 to pay with a credit card even though it’s mandatory. They will cost you thousands of dollars a month, send you 20 automated emails a week about “rules” that only apply when they want them to apply and will laugh all the way to the bank. I’ve been a lot happier at a lot less nicer apartments just because they actually took pride in giving you a place to stay rather than treating you like an ATM.

This time I asked if he didn’t mind looking into another small issue I had been dealing with, and he was nice enough to look into it. He could’ve said no because that’s not what he came for but I really appreciate his assistance always!
