I have been living here for about for a few months. They claim its luxury living - there is nothing luxury about it. Let's start with the manager Melissa ... When I started here, she didn't even say hello, let alone greet her new resident. Whenever I've stopped in at the office since then, she has never once said hi. She will also lie to you and dismiss any issue. I was given an apartment that was vacant for a while - I did it all online. They claimed it was low season that's why it was vacant. That was FAR from the truth. Only when I came to move in, and after living in, I realized the strange smell was tobacco not the "new carpet" that has been installed per their info ... the truth is this was an apartment with a tobacco smoker, so the place smells of tobacco. I even found cigarette butts in the balcony, yet they claimed this is a non-smoking apartment and facility. Aside from that, multiple staff smoke on the property and so do MANY residents - how they claim its non-smoking beats me!! So beware - about what they tell you. I have had respiratory issues from the time I moved in.... There is poop everywhere in the beds around the property. No matter how much you complain about it, nothing much is done .... There's a dog park - can't ever use it, as it reeks of dog poop too. The air conditioning units do NOT work properly. When you complain, they will claim that the units can swing a couple of degrees and designed that way. BUT - the swing is more like 5-10 degrees. So if you plan on getting any sleep in the summer - forget it. Your nights will be disturbed by the heat that builds in the apartments. The water pressure in the kitchen is LOW and uniquely designed with smaller pipes - than the rest of the apartment according to their head of maintenance. He will also blame the city of Mansfield claiming their are doing some repairs so pressure is low - just uniquely in the kitchen though!? Or, even better, they will tell you that a certain building suffers from low kitchen faucet pressure! .....Instead of getting someone who really knows what they are doing to FIX the issues. The dish washers don't work properly either. So if you want clean dishes, wash them by hand - oh, and that will be a problem ....because the faucets don't work properly!!! The pressure to them is uniquely low - so that's a challenge!! BUT... the office staff & maintenance - will blame you and talk down to you and, claim that you don't know how to load your dishwasher and that's why the dishes are not getting clean....!! Instead of fixing or changing the unit. There is a service fee of $75 a month. Which is way too high!! Nonetheless, the service person - Mark. He is the best. Very nice guy, helpful and polite. Always cheerful. He should be the manager. Lia the leasing agent at the office - she is usually happy and helpful too. When I was checking out the plc, she went out of her way to help. And, at least she smiles at you when you walk into the office.... Unfortunately, she doesn't call the shots. The head of maintenance and the assistant manager, who is also very unfriendly, never smiles or greets you - are husband and wife. So don't every expect them to resolve issues - cause one is always protecting the other's back. As a result, nothing really gets fixed around here properly. They will attempt to, but not really - then BLAME YOU for all the issues with the apartment..... There are live and dead bugs in the hallway - almost always! Now and then, you'll find one in your apartment. Packages have disappeared too - there is no keyed entry on each floor so anyone can enter any building /floor and steal packages. Lastly....for now, the one small detail they leave out is there are NO ELEVATORS!! So that comes with its own challenges if you live on the 2nd or 3rd floors. Think carefully before renting here. ====== In response to your response: The office has been contacted numerous times and all I get is excuses and assumptions that everything is working fine. When it is obviously NOT !!!
