Update 3/18/25 I’ve lived here almost a year and am not renewing my lease and these are some of the reasons why. 1.) Elevators. There’s only one elevator per building, the one in building had worked less in the time I’ve lived here then it has worked. It will be down for numerous weeks at a time. During a store, our building was struck by lightning and the elevator was out for about a month, if not more. There’s was nothing given to the residents of our building for the inconvience during that time even though we received an email stating they were working on something for it. 2.) Gates. The gates are open majority of the time, especially the one near my building. It’s been broken multiple times, for the last few months it’s been an exit only gate on the rare occasion that it’s actually closed. 4.) Doors. The doors into our building haven’t locked in many many months. So anyone can just walk into our building without having a key fob which honestly, is wild to me because the reason we moved here was the sense of security that you had to have a key to even get in the building. 5.) Structure. The apartments seemed rushed when built. Our Romeo and Juliet doors were installed incorrectly causing multiple flooding issues when it rained, we were told it was fixed to then wake up during a store and find out living room flooded with water from the water pouring in from the doors. We live on the fourth floor, and our sliding door does NOT have a lock. I understand no one can scale up to my floor and break in but that would worry me for families with small children the fact the sliding doors can’t even lock this high up. 6.) cleanliness People don’t pick up after their pets, people leave their trash in the hallways and the corridors have have the stairwells. I’ll see numerous spills, empty cups, bags of random food all the time (which this isn’t the apartments fault but the fault of lazy people) Overall there are other apartments in the area that are cheaper and have the same amenities. Nike of my neighbors I’ve spoken to have absolutely loved their stay here and many of them don’t renew their leases Just moved into the Haven on 4/20/24 and it had been a breeze. Easy access to community portal, amazing in unit wifi, spacious layout and awesome amenities. Everyone in the leasing office was so friendly and answered all questions. We’ve had no issue so far! Only thing is I wish all leasing documents and addendums were sent all together to sign. I felt like we would sign a few then a few weeks later we would receive more and it was hard to keep track of what was and wasn’t done or filled out yet but an easy call prior to move in day to ensure everything was done was easy enough to do.
