First of all, I posted a lengthy 1 star review and was contacted by the manager in an attempt to intimidate me to removing it. Instead, I am doubling down that this is the worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in, and I’ve lived in dozens over the past twenty years. It started when I picked up my keys and I was informed that my unit was not renovated, as promised when I signed my lease, and would look much different than what I had originally toured. What I couldn’t expect was how FILTHY the unit was. It was clear the apartment hadn’t been cleaned beyond a quick wipe down. There was layers of dust on every surface, the light switches were filthy (you could see brown dirt that had accumulated over the years. I had to take them off and soak/scrub), the exhaust fan in the bathroom had literal shit splatter on it, the carpet was heavily soiled, there was stuck on food all over the microwave, walls, refrigerator, and the oven had so much grease it’s not safe to even use after multiple cleanings. the hanging lighting fixtures in the kitchen are disgusting and I was told they cannot remove them to clean because “it might strip the screws and then we’ll have to replace them so there is no way to clean them.” The sliding glass door to the patio has a broken seal between the panes resulting in it being so filthy you can’t even see through it well. I was told that this just is the way it is and there’s nothing to be done. There is severe lime scale and calcium buildup on the refrigerator’s through door dispenser which they say is normal (it is not and is a health hazard). I ended up spending hours of my life plus over $200 hiring professional cleaners to try and get the place in shape and it’s still gross. When they pulled out the oven, there was years of food splatter down the side and literal food on the ground. After many snarky exchanges, the manager tried to gaslight me into thinking it wasn’t that bad and I was simply high maintenance. She sent out her cleaners only after 4-5 pleas and the entire time they were here they made sure I knew what an inconvenience it was. I’ve never had an experience like this, especially not in a place that calls itself “luxury.” I’m appalled at the condition the apartment was in when I moved in and the lack of recourse taken by the team as well as constant attitude and gaslighting whenever I have a legitimate issue with my unit. If it wouldn’t cost $10k to break my lease, I would have done so immediately. Definitely DO NOT move here!
