I have been trying to get rid of the disgusting roach infestation & rats that have been in my apartment and once the pest control came by for 2 weeks in a row, they started to steal from me because all of my BABY items went missing and the ONLY people that have access to the unit are pest control and maintenance. Which by the way, I’ve put in a work order for a bunch of other things as well way back when I moved in on April 1 and NOTHING has been done. The front office will pretend they care but then nothing will be done. They don’t take anything into consideration and I am allergic to German roaches and I can’t even breathe in my own apartment. I have filed a complaint to the city Austin tenant and Austin codes department and I have legal right to get out of my lease without penalty and the property management said that I cannot because “ I have to pay “ for early release when clearly they’re in many violations of health code. It is very ridiculous at how they pretend nothing is wrong with the unit when there are roaches falling down the ceiling AND I am charged with teach valet when my trash will stay sitting outside rotting my door for WEEKS. Such a terrible experience. They will light gas you into thinking you are paying low rent and then they hit you with hidden fees when rent comes.

My roommate and I went on a tour this past Friday at The Array trying to get a heads up on the property before we decide to put in an application and in very little words I can honestly say this is by far the best option out there for us. The manager was super friendly and helpful with any questions we had, pretty much every property I've been to I did not get to interact with any managers but the second I stopped by here I could tell that leslie’s hands were on deck helping us out. I'm excited to move to this beautiful property once my lease ends. The grounds are well picked up. They have beautiful amenities. But my favorite part was the staff, I'm beyond thankful for the experience they served!

I initially planned to leave a 3-star or better review, but after the way management treated me, I can’t in good conscience do that. This complex does not accommodate individuals with disabilities and seems more focused on squeezing every last dime from residents rather than addressing legitimate concerns. When I moved in, I specifically requested a quiet unit, but from the very first weekend, I dealt with loud parties, what sounded like animal fights, and people drinking until early morning hours. Calling the police was pointless, as the noise would temporarily stop just long enough for them to drive by before starting up again.
Management also failed to follow through on multiple promises. I was assured there would be no washer and dryer in my unit, yet when I moved in, they were still there, and it took over two months and countless emails and work orders to get them removed. During my tour, I was told the laundromats had brand-new machines, but after moving in, I discovered that the ones near the dog park—where I was directed—didn’t work at all. Since it was going to be two months before I could get my own washer and dryer, I had to pay for laundry services.
The problems didn’t stop there. My unit was infested with roaches, and when I reported it to the office, I was simply “put on the list” with no clear answer on when pest control would come. After one particularly horrifying experience where a roach tried crawling up my leg while I was using the bathroom, I had enough. I hired my own extermination service, which has been treating my unit regularly, and I haven’t seen a single roach since. If you want something done right, you have to do it yourself—just like my mom always said.
Package theft is another major issue. I was assured this wasn’t a problem at the complex, yet I had multiple deliveries stolen from the so-called secure Amazon room. Even worse, my downstairs neighbors stole two of my mattresses, and I found proof when I saw my shipping box with my name and address in their trash. Despite bringing this to management, nothing was done, forcing me to beg the company to send a third replacement and pick it up from FedEx instead.
One of the most dangerous experiences I’ve had here was in May when my neighbors ran a motorcycle inside their unit without ventilation. I kept smelling gas and began feeling nauseous and lightheaded. When I called my roommate to ask if the smell was coming from his clothes, he told me he hadn’t worked on his bike at all. I called the fire department, and their readings showed 17% carbon monoxide levels—24% is considered potentially fatal. Despite multiple reports, management only took the issue seriously after I installed a Ring doorbell and captured video footage of them bringing the motorcycle into their apartment.
The air conditioning has been another ongoing nightmare. It has repeatedly broken, sometimes leaving me without cooling for days. The longest stretch was three days because the maintenance team refused to work past 5 PM, even when there were urgent repairs. The only reason it finally got fixed was because the maintenance manager, who was out sick, personally came to fix it after I called the emergency line. While he takes pride in his work, the rest of the team seems to lack the same dedication.
At this point, I have given this complex more than enough chances to make things right, and time after time, they have failed. This last incident was the final straw, and I have now sent a formal complaint to management and plan to go to litigation if it isn't resolved. Whether they choose to resolve this amicably or force me to take legal action is entirely up to them.
They will say these reviews are from tenants who are being evicted! I wasn't evicted and paid rent every month. DoN't LeT tHeM fOoL yOu!
