After living at Westdale Pointe for 2 years, it was a final relief to move out and into a beautiful spacious new place. I should have never moved here in the first place; it was a quick move, and I should have known better. You will get what you pay for! You WILL be welcome by roaches all year long, mold in the walls will make you feel sick all the time. Had to constantly treat my apartment for roaches. The 2nd bathroom ceiling collapsed, thank God nobody was in there when I heard the loud noise of it collapsing from water pipes leaking and saturating the ceiling and walls. The trusses were all saturated and the management insisted that there was no mold, even though it was visible. The 2nd restroom was unusable for weeks, and they did not or even consider adjusting my rent even after this disgusting experience. So, I had to pay rent for a molding apartment, and restroom that was unusable. This is NOT good management! This should have never happened! They tried to fix it but was only a coverup fix. A couple of months later as I was moving out, the restroom ceiling had mold growing again in the same spot, the sheetrock was all wet, and the 2nd bedroom carpet was all saturated from the same leak coming from above, the walls were wet too! So glad that I moved out! I asked them to please fix my front door because look at the obvious in the attached picture, well, that was considered fixed. The trimming was worn off, air was seeping in, and the door would not lock, it was a battle trying to lock my door. It was just rotting wood trim, which seems to be acceptable to these apartment managers and owner. I had so many issues living here, and at the end, they took my deposit, charging me for carpet replacement in the master bedroom, when the carpet was perfectly fine. I guess they just needed the money to replace both rooms, since the 2nd room carpet was all saturated as I was moving out. The tub in my restroom had paint peeling off, I had to make sure my feet didn't get cuts from the paint peeling off the tub. The water here is continuously turned off, you must read your emails to make sure the water will not be off if you plan to use water for cooking, showering or washing clothes, etc. It was hit or miss if I was going to have a normal shower, I had to constantly adjust the water because it was either extremely hot or freezing cold. It was awful! When I moved here, I noticed that whoever they hire to paint, paints over dirty walls, the walls are all uneven, it just looks so bad. The blinds are cheap, the carpet is cheap, they provide the cheapest appliances (only 2 burners worked properly), the kitchen shelves are warped, the patio screens do not stay on track and hang off, looks bad! The cabinets do not even close, because the cabinets are old and used up, just painted over. The assistant management does not care; as soon as you sign the lease, they are done with you after that. Enjoy your roaches, cold water or extremely hot water when showering, leaky pipes, mold in walls, water shut offs, and management who simply DO NOT CARE! But if it was them living in this environment, they would be VERY UPSET, especially if management did not care! I believe in karma, and when it does visit, I hope they remember this review! As I moved out, I felt extremely relieved and excited to move somewhere where I am happy to pay rent with upscale appliances, zero roaches, beautiful surroundings, and MANAGEMENT that DO CARE! My experience at Westdale Pointe was AWFUL! I hope this review helps keep apartment seekers away from a terrible, unhealthy living environment. Asst. management, Yadira does not care how your living environment is, she knew all along that these apartments had issues and still invites people to live here, not telling them the true issues these apartments have. Then she asks for a good review to look good. She should be ashamed of herself for taking away my deposit, as if these apartments are so great, knowing these apartments have major issues as described in my review. Shame on you! Well now she has an accurate review!
