Should be zero stars! This place is the worst maintained apartment complex I’ve seen. Go look at the pool on the west side! Feces coming from the pipes and left on the grass/parking lot for all of us to enjoy. If you need something done to your apartment, good luck! They will either never show up or, patch it up like a dirt track race car. Garages are collapsed and storm damage from a year ago, is still on the ground. You could tell, this place was absolutely awesome before and could be. It just needs the right management! Until then, don’t move here!

Been here for a few years now. Currently pay 1650ish per month for a 1/1 with a den space. The materials they use to fix up the apartments is some sort of spray paint and makes everything stain on the counters and bathroom. Emileigh (Management) has always been the saving grace for this place but you can tell Richdale doesn't care and won't put money back into their properties. One pool has been broken since before I moved in, the sides that face the roads have no grass and aren't maintained, I was walking our dog and saw a bottom floor apartment with a broken window and eviction notice that has been that way for several weeks. The potholes are EVERYWHERE throughout the property, one is so big now it's really hard to get around it and yet it's when you first come in the main gate. The gate is never closed anymore and parking is a mess. I gave in and got a gym membership at a real gym since ours will never be updated and has old equipment and a crappy sauna. The maintenance men really try hard except one guy who is always lazy and wants to put stuff off to the next guy. My dryer is extremely loud after he put it back in after our washer flooded but I've just stopped caring about how things are because I'm so ready to move. We've been overpaying for this apartment for too long, wouldn't pay more than 1200-1400 here if you move in. Also if they are renovating an apartment in your building you'll probably get headaches and chemical smells for a few days because they use materials that they aren't supposed to. Everything could be fixed with a better company owning it than Richdale.

I’d like to share my recent experience with these apartments. While it’s true that the property has several issues —such as non-functional pools, trash often left outside the bins, and the access hallways to the units being consistently dirty— none of that initially discouraged me. The layout of the apartment I selected was perfect for my daughter and me, and the location is ideal, especially with my daughter’s school literally right next door.
When I visited the leasing office, Fanny was incredibly kind and helpful. She clearly explained everything, showed me available units, and informed me about current promotions. I asked if they would accept a letter from my employer as income verification since I’m paid in cash. She confidently assured me that they would, as long as the letter included all necessary company information.
That same Saturday, I submitted my application, and to be fair, the process started quickly and efficiently. I was contacted right away, which I appreciated. However, once Jeriko Bautista took over my application, issues began. Despite explaining several times that I don’t have checks or bank statements, only an official employer letter, I had to send four emails before he seemed to understand. He continued requesting bank account information, so I also submitted additional proof of my secondary income (not my primary source but helpful as support).
Unfortunately, after a week of back-and-forth and providing every document requested, I received an email stating that they do not accept employer letters and that my income was not sufficient. This decision could have been communicated from the very beginning, saving me an entire week and allowing me to explore other housing options sooner.
I sincerely hope the administrative fee is refunded within the 7 to 10 days as stated.
My goal with this review is not to criticize unfairly but to encourage the management team to improve the clarity and consistency of their screening process. A clear answer upfront would have made all the difference.

Earlier this year, their system had a glitch that resulted in a portion of our rent being sent back to an account about 6 months after the payment. The portal showed a balance on January 1st, but the office was closed. We went in on the 3rd, and of course, the manager was "out of the office" as usual.
The rep we spoke with told us NOT to pay it as she could see it showed some sort of glitch and promised she would contact the office. A week passed with no contact, and just as soon as my partner got home from the office, we were hit with an eviction notice.
When we confronted the staff, they lied and said the balance had been due for months; until I had to escalate the issue and involve nearly every department to confirm the balance literally appeared out of nowhere as the actual payment had been made over six months before. I had to raise hell just to get any kind of response. Also, the initial rep we spoke to? never notified anyone.

Recently toured this community and I was super pleased with not only that spacious floor plans, amenities, and specials they’re offering, but the professionalism of the office staff. I had tons of questions and Emaleigh answered them with ease. We toured multiple apartments to make sure I found exactly what I was looking for. The customer service that was provided was unmatched. I look forward to moving in and will be submitting an application soon!
