Living here has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had with an apartment complex. The property is severely neglected, and management shows little to no concern for residents’ needs.
I have been waiting more than eight months for my bathtub faucet to be properly replaced. Despite giving management open permission to enter at any time, the issue remains unresolved. They have only attempted temporary “fixes,” once even telling me the solution was simply to turn the handle ONLY four times. The faucet still does not work correctly, and it is impossible to properly adjust the water temperature. Once when I reported it, maintenance blamed the boiler system, even though the kitchen water remained hot, which made no sense. I can never predict when I am going to get a hot shower. The broken faucet chooses.
Complete hot water outages are another ongoing problem, sometimes lasting for several days at a time. This has happened multiple times within just a few weeks. I contacted an attorney last time, and may have to do so again. When it happened in June, I withheld rent. On the 4th day of the month, a notice to vacate paper was taped to my door. I still had no hot water. Here we are again, 8 weeks later, and no hot water again.
The condition of the property itself is also troubling. Beer bottles and trash (even mattresses) are frequently left in the parking lot with no consistent cleanup. When my dishwasher was removed, the drain line was left unsecured, which caused my kitchen to flood twice before it was finally repaired correctly. My sliding window is in such bad condition that painters didn’t even bother covering it when repainting, leaving paint splatters all over it.
Security and amenities are poorly managed. Packages have been stolen, and non-residents regularly use the pool without any enforcement. We are supposed to wear bracelets to be in the pool area. I’ve seen staff walk right by the pool and not enforce it. Residents are moving out constantly, which speaks volumes about the quality of life here.
Instead of addressing these long-standing issues, management seems more focused on sending referral bonus offers. Unfortunately, I would never refer anyone to live here. They absolutely do not prioritize the comfort or well-being of their residents. I’m certain management will respond to my review with the usual generic statement, something along the lines of “please call this number” and “we’re sorry your experience has been bad.” But the truth is, you already know what the problems are. You simply don’t care. You even had a new contact person reach out to me after my lawyer got involved, yet nothing meaningful has changed. That gesture only reinforces the point that you are aware of the issues, but you have no real intention of addressing them.
There are plenty of other apartments on this very street worth considering, and I strongly suggest looking into those instead.

Not only that, they never answer the phone and send you straight to voicemail. These people will lie to you, take your money and laugh… like i said.. DO NOT RENT HERE!!!

Our experience with The Dahlia management has been exceptional. The ladies in the office are attentive, and really try to solve tenants problems expeditiously. Maintenance is very good, and try to quickly fix any issues. All in all, the staff have made this a nice community to live in.
Edited to say: Great staff. They made our stay here very pleasant. The manager even offered to let my wife and I stay longer after our roommate passed away. They are very courteous, helpful, and all around good staff.
