I am a current resident at Crosby at the Brickyard. I don't normally write reviews unless something of major concern happens. Last week my AC fan blew out. I put in a work order with the leasing office thinking this would be fixed instantly. It was not. They sent a member of maintenance team to come look at it and he deemed it to be "iced over" and to shut it off for a few hours. I did so, and turned back on the unit, and still nothing. So I went down to the leasing office to try and get this fixed as it was almost 78 degrees in my apartment. They informed me that the maintenance team went home for the day, and they wouldn't be back out until the next day to fix this issue. I took my Cat and left the apartment knowing that this wouldn't be safe for myself and my animal. It took over a week for this issue to get this resolved after an email and multiple calls to the leasing office demanding this be fixed. The only remedy they gave to me was a portable AC unit that wasn't even installed correctly. They blamed me for not informing them it wasn't working even though I had to relocate to a different location until the part came in (they said "they're at the mercy of the supplier of the part) and wouldn't think of staying an 80 degree apartment. After asking what would be done to make this right and asking for a prorated amount be deducted from next months rent, the Supervisor Griffin told me that she would issue a good gesture. They would not deduct from my rent the week I could not even live in my own apartment. This management team should be embarrassed and ashamed of the lack of urgency and professionalism to get this resolved in a timely manner and taking care of the residents who are unable to live in their own apartment. They would have been responsible of the health of my cat and myself if I choose to stay in this apartment instead of going to a place with actual air conditioning. If you are looking to live here, don't expect any urgency from management if your AC blows out in the summer. I've added pictures below to document my experience. The pictures show both the outside temperature and my apartment temperature from last Tuesday May 13 when I brought up the issue with the complex. No person let alone a baby kitten is able to safely stay in apartment of that temperature. Do better and take care of the people who take care of you.

Christina and Griffin at The Crosby at the Brickyard deserve every point of this 5-star review! I looked at about 18 apartment and townhome communities in the area before deciding to call this community my home. Two of the biggest reasons for that were Christina and Griffin.
My first visit to the community was on a weekday around 5:45 p.m. when I got off work. I try to be respectful and not do this to office staff when they close at 6 p.m., but I needed to decide on a new home pretty soon. Christina showed me 1 apartment that was very nice, but then I asked to see another to gauge the space, value, etc. It was after 6 at that point, but she happily showed me while also engaging in great conversation about her experiences here. That second unit is now my home.
I am impressed by the apartment features here, from stainless-steel appliances to light cabinetry that makes the place feel bigger. The community pool has been a relaxing respite from my otherwise stressful work life. The team has hosted one community gathering since I moved in, and I can't wait to attend more in the future.
If you're looking for a well-kept community that's in a great location (right near 635 and George Bush tollway), I'd highly recommend you come by and talk with Christina and Griffin!

My husband and I have been living at The Crosby for over a year now. We’ve enjoyed our stay so far. Leasing office has always been friendly and helpful. The monthly events they have are awesome as well. We want to shine light on the Service Manager, Blake. We always see him working hard around the building keeping everything running smoothly. He’s also been very attentive to any service requests we’ve put in.

I typically don't leave reviews on anything, but I will say my experience here has been perfect. Upon viewing the apartments I was welcomed with patience and kindness. Unlike other apartments, they genuinely made me feel like they wanted me here without seeming pushy or trying to just have my business. The community at this complex is incredible. Huge shoutout to Griffin and Christina, who both made sure all my concerns were answered and resolved by move in day. They went above and beyond for me and I couldn't be happier with the service. Anyone looking for a great apartment, I would absolutely start here
