I just signed my third lease and I want to let others know what a jewel this community is. There are issues here like everywhere, but the strong team in the office are very tenant friendly and go to bat for the residents. Hannah and Meadow helped me find my new unit and even offered some decorating tips that I will try. Laura has resolved several issues that I have had and I know that she will get continue to get the job done.

As promised, a quick update... Shortly after my review the gate magically started "working" again but not for everyone. The gate functions by reading the chip in your toll tag and they even said they know it's weird but it doesn't work for the new style tags... (Mine is not the new style btw but it doesn't work) I emailed, they updated my number but it doesn't work. I politely emailed again because I had perhaps provided the wrong number, I even included a picture of my tag in the email and the response I got was "Can you please send us a picture of your tag?" even though I had just sent that. No response for a week after that, tag still doesn't work.
OH and the pool has been closed Monday-Friday this week because the water turned cloudy and green after the previous closure because again... they don't just pay for proper pool maintenance. Regular cleaning and treatment would prevent this (Just FYI since this is no longer the "first time we've had to close it this season).
Can I have some of my FIFTEEN GRAND in rent back since we are paying for subpar amenities and service? LOL
The gate is STILL broken. All doors on the building are unlocked, there is no key fob or code entry. I would like to point out that there was a post from several months ago (the one with a picture) that talked about the gate being broken. Management responded to that post FOUR MONTHS AGO and the gate is still broken... I've lived at 5 different gated apartment complexes before and gate issues like this don't happen. Either management is lying or they literally found the worst gate company ever. Seriously Carmichael? Time for a new gate and security...
Pool closed during the height of summer for maintenance? Why is our maintenance guy (who should be taking care of resident requests) working on the pool? That pool had been getting cloudy and nasty for a while. Pools should have regular professional maintenance (which would also be much faster).
How about the sketchy people hanging around the building? My $1,000 bike being stolen even though it was locked up in the interior bike room. How about the trash and filth in the hallways and stairwells? Even the WALLS are dirty. Some of the doors to the garage and elevators are sticking. The DOORKNOB to the trash chute room on my friends side of the building has been missing since they moved in which was nearly a year ago now.
Sorry, but everything has been going downhill for a while now. I'm disappointed that I feel the need to write public reviews for management to actually acknowledge our complaints.

Hannah in the office is so sweet, knowledgeable, caring and a pleasure to speak with. She showed me which apartments were available and didn’t rush me into making a decision. She answered all my questions with a friendly smile and I knew from the moment I met her that this is the kind of place I can call home!!
