The experience was good; the people who were here were super nice and helpful. The move-in process went smoothly, but unfortunately, I encountered issues where they don’t proactively call you if any of the information is missing or incorrect. I had to make multiple calls for updates.
( + ) The area is nice and quiet, making it a pleasant place to live. While you can occasionally hear music from the other side of the complex, it’s not overly loud and usually doesn’t last long enough to be bothersome. it's not everyday.
( - ) It’s not really a gated community when the gates are broken and don’t close properly, but you can see other places around here with functioning gates.
( - ) The only issue I faced was with roaches. Even though they said they would send someone to spray, no one came, so I took care of it myself. It would be great if they could improve pest control measures.
( + ) The maintenance team is really nice and chill; they addressed the problem right when I submitted a ticket.
( - ) Communication has suddenly become a problem. I understand they are understaffed and have new management, but it often feels like they are closed every day, and there’s rarely anyone to answer the phone. However, you do receive emails and texts from the office about ongoing issues.
( - ) I believe that with better management and communication, this could be an even better community.

The old management had some minor issues, but with the new company as of about 3mo ago...
-I no longer get ANY responses to my emails!
-I no longer get my maintenance issues fixed within the same day or the next day...often not even the same week!
-The office is no longer open during office hours and there has been ZERO communication about this. 12:52p and they are closed for the day. *Was just told that they are understaffed and manage 2 or 3 other properties. So, that's what you can expect.
-The previous company had over 10 evictions a month and they were a month late getting me into my apt due to the current tenant not leaving.
-I was told I had washer/dryer hookups but no fireplace. This is what I wanted. But it was opposite. Because they were moving me at the absolute last minute there was nothing I could do.
*NOTE: The previous management, was going to let me relocate in the property in Dec when another person moved out. But new company took over and I cannot find it in writing (understandable) but they are not following through or responding to emails, except for 1 -so I know the email works! So, December is almost gone and my vacation almost over and no potential of moving!
Anyone know who/how I can complain about this? No new lease, so no contact info.
THIS SUCKS!
P.S. pool wasn't open last year...yet we still have to pay for the water, electricity, maintenance and insurance for something we can't use. The gates are locked around the whole thing so we can't even use the grill or the patio furniture out there. How is this right?

This place is night-day different from my last apartments around the corner. The Office staff are VERY nice and easy to communicate with. The maintenance staff are fast in communication and resolving issues. The apartment is spacious and a very good quality! Thankful for the affordability too.
The reason I did not give 5 stars is because:
There was a miscommunication and I was given an apt without a Washer/Dryer hookup (BUT the office and I have discussed a solution, just waiting for it to be resolved). - and will update!
The pool has issues and remains locked around the community- very disappointing - it is only accessible through the office gate during office hours though for lounging and is beautiful! *hope next summer it is 'fixed'.
Flaws that do not hinder my star rating: there is minimal space from the door to the parking lot where the cars drive. This is dangerous if you are walking to your car, you MUST stop and look. Especially for children! *In my opinion the cars should park against the building and the driving on the other side - but that creates other issues of lights in your apt at night, fumes by the A/C's, etc... On the long street, many speedbumps - which are needed...but I despise.
I did have a night time emergency on my 2nd day here and it took almost 3hrs to get a response....I was very distraught but, while my last apt I had several night time emergencies and NO response even into the next day, here at least they did respond.
If I had to do it again, I would! Feel free to use my name as a referral! ;)
