Only leaving this review because of one frustration I’ve had. I had three packages stolen due to the luxer lockers being full and the delivery driver putting my packages out in the open (which whey should not do) all within hours of the delivery. I went to management and asked them to please check the cameras with specific timelines and photos of the exact location the packages were placed to try and prevent this from happening again to me or other residents. They said they would. When I inquired about it again I was told “the manager didn’t find anything” when I can clearly see that there’s multiple cameras that are within view of the location the packages were placed. I know apartment employees tend to be unhelpful with things like this because sure, they deal with a lot of bogus. However, I doubt any cameras were ever checked and they could have just said that. So, now I’m being a Karen leaving a review because: I don’t like being lied to. I don’t like my stuff being stolen. AND whoever ended up with my two 20 lbs bags of cat food, I hope you’re eating it every day for breakfast Otherwise, this apartment is fine. Just make sure you leave a note to your delivery drivers to not put things outside the lockers if they are full because management won’t do anything to help stop the thievery.

The application process here was an absolute nightmare. I tried applying online, but their website didn't work, so I had to apply somewhere else. Then, the website began working took the $700 in application fees out of me and my boyfriend's accounts, after we had already brought in cashier's checks for the amount. It was impossible to get any answers about it, and I had to show up in person multiple times to get help. It was never actually resolved - they just took it off my first month's rent and I had to pay my boyfriend back out of the money. I have been talking to management since then trying and it takes over a week to get a response, and even then they aren't willing to help. I don't have an online portal because I never applied through their website, so I can't put in maintenance requests or even pay my rent online. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the front desk staff is so helpful and kind. I've had to go to them a lot to get help since I don't have a portal, and every time they're responsive, kind and solve the issue. The building is nice, but its not worth the hassle to get into it. Look somewhere else.

I moved here in June. I quickly felt at home and loved the friendly faces that are in the office. I had a situation to where I needed to relocate for work very soon after moving in and was so sad to go. Not only were they kind in my notice, but they did everything they could to help alleviate any sort of stress or addition fees I could have incurred had they not helped me through. I am very grateful for The Ash, Joseph and Sarah specifically!!!

Maintenance always does a great job. The office is very responsive, and I’ve never had to wait more than 48 hours to receive a response. Every experience I’ve had using the maintenance crew has been great!

I lived in this apartment complex for four years. The review herein is my opinion only, from personal experience and observations. CONS: 1.) Biggest con- FIRE ALARMS. The fire alarms go off at random times. Just in June 2023 to August 2024 the alarms went off on 6/6/23, 6/23/23/, 9/21/23, 1/12/24, 1/16/24, 1/24/24, 1/25/24, 1/30/24, 2/7/24, 5/12/24 (twice), 5/24/24, 5/27/24, 8/18/24, 8/27/24 at which point I moved out. This caused a lot of stress on my ear for which I eventually developed a ringing sound and headaches. There were disruptions when working from home and sleeping. Additionally, this was a safety risk because I could no longer distinguish legitimate fire alarms from false alarms. 2.) Quality of complex. The common areas like the hallways and stairs have increasingly become dirtier and dirtier. The hallways have permanent stains even after cleaning, and the stairs are not well maintained. There was glass on the stairs for at least two months prior to my move out date. 3.) Glitchy doors. Some doors in the apartment complex glitch and stay open, which made me feel unsafe because anyone could walk in. The garage door is sometimes broken also, though they have mostly fixed this issue and the garage door is mostly working now. 4.) Loud sounds. I lived in the relaxing quad area which seemed nice at first, but the closed nature of the space makes it so that you can hear all sounds if your balcony door is open. PROS: 1.) Apartment finishes. I lived in a white kitchen apartment that had very nice finishes and space while I lived there. I had a lot of cabinet space and the closet was a walk-in closet. This made for a nice apartment the four years I lived there. 2.) Neighborhood. You can generally walk around the neighborhood and there are nice areas to explore. The trail is behind the complex, and the complex is walking distance to central market (less than one mile). It is also close to SMU if you attend there. 3.) Safety. I did not have any issues with break-ins while I lived at the complex and they have private security. Each unit has an alarm and overall I felt safe when I lived at the Ash. 4.) Amenities. The apartment has a nice gym, pool and private event area. You can use the event room for parties or gatherings, first come first serve without a cost to use the space. I celebrated birthdays there and it was nice. I also studied in the office space and that was nice. Overall, the Ash has the potential to be a good apartment complex, but the fire alarm issue is unbelievable.
