I decided to go to the pool today, I went in the morning to check that it was open and a nice girl was cleaning the restroom. I told her I was glad that they hired someone to do it because it is always dirty and she said that she didn’t work here, her and her family wanted to use the pool and she didn’t want to use a dirty restroom so she was cleaning it out of her own heart. An hour later I go to the pool all dressed and there there is a maintenance guy closing and locking every door. When I asked him what was wrong with the pool he said that no one had rented it today so he locked it. I told him that I didn’t need to rent it as I was a resident and the pool comes in the package. He said if I had a problem I could call the office, which said they were open today but news flash, they are not. Horrible experience in this apartments!! I hope no one else was planning to go to the pool in this HOT SUMMER DAY, because these apartments are not it !!!

I am absolutely thrilled with the changes at Allure Apartments since the new management team took over. It's like night and day compared to the previous management. Seriously, everything has improved dramatically, and it's such a relief to see the community being taken care of properly.
First off, the responsiveness is incredible. Any time I've had a question or needed assistance, the new team is on it immediately. They're proactive about addressing issues and always follow through, which was definitely not the case before. The communication is clear and consistent, keeping everyone informed about what's happening around the complex.
Beyond that, the attention to detail is impressive. The grounds are cleaner and better maintained, and I've noticed so many little improvements that add up to a much more pleasant living environment. It's clear that they're committed to making Allure Apartments a great place to live, and their hard work really shows. I'm so grateful for their dedication and for picking up the slack left by the previous management. Thank you for making Allure Apartments a place I'm proud to call home!

Since the transition, there's been a noticeable improvement in communication, professionalism, and overall responsiveness. The team is courteous, attentive, and genuinely seems to care about the residents' concerns and needs.
Maintenance requests are being handled much more efficiently, and the office staff is much easier to reach compared to the previous management. It's refreshing to see a team that’s committed to making a real difference in the community.

My husband and I lived here from July 2021 to April 2024. While the rent and proximity to school kept me here, our experience overall was very poor.
From day one, we had issues. My apartment wasn’t ready at move-in — the carpets were wet, smelled like dog, and I only had 30 minutes to complete the inspection form. Throughout my time there, my husband and I battled cockroaches despite frequent pest control visits, and the problem never went away, likely due to the condition of the buildings overall. The infestation took a significant toll on both of us mentally and emotionally and was one of the main reasons we ultimately decided to move out. It was so bad that when we moved out, I had to throw away a lot of kitchen items and electronics just to avoid bringing roaches into our new home. Parking was also frustrating, with broken-down cars sitting for months, leaving it hard to find a parking spot close to our building. I also had several packages stolen. Safety was a concern as well, since we often heard gunshots nearby and in the complex.
When we moved out, we spent 8+ hours cleaning and scheduled a move-out inspection, which management initially refused to honor. We eventually completed it with no major issues noted. Still, more than a year later, I have not received my $450 security deposit refund as required by Texas law. I recently sent another follow-up email demanding the check. I was charged for normal wear and tear (not allowed under Texas law) and was never given a written, itemized list of deductions. Despite multiple emails, calls, and providing my forwarding address, I am still waiting.
Additionally, during my time there, management offered residents discounts off rent in exchange for writing positive reviews. This may explain why some online reviews appear overly positive compared to the reality of living here.
If management has since changed, things may be better, but during my three years here, management was unhelpful, communication was poor, and residents’ concerns were not taken seriously. I would not recommend living here.
