We've been pretty happy here. Our only reason for moving is to upgrade for our family.
We like the parking garage especially during the summer. They also do little events here and there which I think is really nice for the community.
In terms of noise, we can hear our upstairs neighbor building and moving their furniture when they moved in. But you don't really hear much noise after. It is an apartment complex so any reasonable noise is expected.
The only things I can suggest for improvement is making sure the trash compactor is cleaned out (maybe twice a day?) so trash doesn't build up. Additionally, enforcing an accountability system to prevent residents from leaving their dog poop around. I know one apartment complex has this: if you catch someone not picking up their dog poop (with photos/videos), you can turn them in for rent off. For example, they get fined $200, and you get $100 off for that month. Just something management should consider.
Their #1 strength is the maintenance team. You put a work order in, and they're on it in less than 24 hours. Really friendly people.

Resident of 5 years. Would not recommend living here if you have children. Somehow if you are on any floor but the bottom, footsteps and walking in your own apartment is an issue. My daughter is 30 pounds, I weigh 140, yet every day we receive complaints about noise levels of our steps. This comes regardless of me managing my child and telling her no running and her abiding. Walking in your unit is not permitted when living here. This does not stop at footsteps either, something as simple as cutting vegetables on a cutting board, caused a noise complaint to be put on me. This lead to lease violations for noise and ultimately non renewal. My friend who is an architect states the apartments are thinly constructed with wood floors, so there is almost no padding to mitigate noise for footsteps. This flaw in construction should not be taken out on the residents. I have had to walk reserved and not allow my child of 5 years to play at all inside the apartment for over a year. Anyone with children, know your fate will be similar.
Rents are overpriced. There is a $100 anemity fee MONTHLY. This is rich as the pool is open for 3 months of the year, the gym has about 2 machines, a couple tredmills, and a rack of free weights. The computer room does not have functioning wifi for over a year, the media room is nearly impossible to use, and the basketball court is only open when everyone is working their jobs. A $1,450 rent becomes $1,550, just for those underwhelming anemities. The water bill is also very expensive compared to my other apartments I have lived, so be prepared to pay close to $2,000 for a one bedroom apartment. There are about 4-5 apartments on Eckhert alone, many at pricepoints nearly half of the rent here. The difference in rent yearly is close to a down payment on a home or a car note. Ask yourself if the aesthetic is really worth that every year.
The 'luxury' apartment is subjective. While the palm trees is a nice touch, those are about as luxury as these apartments get. Concrete stairs with cracks and missing pieces all over the complex which have been there for half a decade, Dozens of Stray cats in every cardinal direction, a local bird population which live up in the high areas to avoid said cats which poop all over patios, streets and hallways. A garbage area infested with loose trash and more flies than residents. Me and my next door neighbor both dealt with a cockroach infestation upon move in. Pest control was not helpful, and was only fixed by our own efforts. This was a problem we inherited upon move in, so to fix it and leaving it on the residents is unacceptable. The parking garage is full of dust and your car will get DIRTIER daily than if it were simply parked inside.
The pool lights are bright blue and blue light seeps into any close apartment at night. I would not recommend renting a building 12 apartment, as even the strongest curtains cannot keep out blue light. Any quick google search will tell you blue light will keep you awake at night, so whoever had the genius idea to put in bright blue LED lights at nighttime does not value the quality of sleep of residents.
New management are complete Karen's, with them treating this property like they were principals of a school. And not those nice principals you were fond of that were warming, moreso the principals that you see as the enemy on a netflix show. Be prepared to be reminded 3x to pay your rent in form of mass texts, like we're children who need their hand held to give them your money. In the event there is a late payment, be prepared to get eviction notices SAME DAY and $200+ in fees for a late payment. They have trained the front desk receptionist to cold shoulder and hang up any time a resident has any push back. This creates a dynamic that anything they say goes, and if you don't like it, they don't care. Driving me to write this review.

The unit I moved in to had a TON of damage - damage to doors, walls, electrical outlets, and broken appliances. I've been waiting almost a week for maintenance to fix my refrigerator. I've been here almost two weeks and still don't have a key to my mailbox. My name has yet to be added to the gate for guests to request permission to enter. Any attempt to communicate with management is just met with "Yeah we don't have an answer for you yet." Do not move here.

Luxury Mid Rise BS. Do NOT rent here!! Trash lays around for days on end, added more photos of trash outside of units at 8 am, so much for valet trash...a service you’re REQUIRED to pay for, but not one they’re required to actually do. There’s absolutely NO security, even though they lie and say there is. Maintenance, management for that matter, doesn’t work weekends. They’re gate stayed broken all weekend and I walk outside to find my truck on blocks, parked on the third floor of their parking garage. The manager tells me she doesn’t know how to review the security footage (if it even works) because she’s “new”. No apology or even attempt to try to get someone that does know what they’re doing, she blew off the SAPD officer and other tenant that had his truck broken into as well.

Just moved in so this review is related to the Application/ Move In process: everything went really smooth, the website is user friendly, quick turn around as well. We leased with Joey and he was a Joy to work with, very accessible, very attentive -answers all the questions. The apartments themselves very accommodating and spacious. I’ll be able to share more on this later, but so far so good. If there is anything I would change, it’s the single garages being so far away from the apartments and the option for electric ⚡️ cars to be charged, but those are minor. Overall as of this point really good service.
