Where do I begin? If I could give zero stars, I would! I moved here and regretted it the very first night! Day one of moving in, I was advised by one of the maintenance guys that I had to go outside and switch the ac unit on because the switch that controls when the unit shut off and on was faulty. As a woman who knows nothing about an outside unit and was two weeks post op, I did what I was told. The first time, I knew it would be my last time because there was an electrical spark when I pushed the button I was told to push. I immediately called the office the next morning and was told someone would come out. It took two weeks for my air to get serviced. During those two weeks, wires were exposed and hanging from the inside unit. Not to mention the temps were triple digits! Also, the first night, they’re thousands of ants on the carpet so after moving all day, I had to go to Walgreens and buy bug spray. I requested pest control and needless to say they never came..EVER! Every time I complained the office staff would state the air in the office or their apartment wasn’t working either. No concern at all. Winter comes and my heat goes out. Thankfully, I was able to go and purchase three space heaters just to stay warm until maintenance decided a week later to come and fix the heat. My daughter and I had to sleep fully clothed with jackets on. A week after my heat was fixed, the apartment flooded! According to my neighbor, unit 1817 floods ever year so stay away from that apartment! The then manager, Simon continuously made jokes stating “that’s what insurance is for.” Well, I’m not in the business of replacing my bedroom furniture every winter! It took two weeks for them to repair the damages. I forgot to mention how a guy was in the parking lot watching my kid multiple times and when I asked to get footage from the camera at the gate so I could provide it to Coppell PD, I was told the camera doesn’t work and there was no concern about a random man watching kids! Now, let’s get to why I’m no longer a resident. I was advised that I owed for two months and had to go to court. Puzzling to me, I immediately called the office and was told by Diamond (no longer works there) that I should call Western Union to see where the money orders were deposited. I did and was told they were deposited into a Bank of America account. Puzzling because I don’t bank with them. I called back and the conversation went nowhere! I’ve sent copies of my receipts and the investigation from Western Union. Diana Glover emailed me at nearly midnight advising that I move. Fast forward, we go to court and I was able to provide the judge the same information. Therefore, she dismissed the “past due” and asked that I pay the current month.. that was my plan once we went to court and also had to address Diana’s attitude towards myself and her. She also stated to me that it sounds that moving wouldn’t be a bad idea after all the troubles I had to experience. I commend her for her empathy and compassion towards me. Diana, enraged after the ruling would no longer speak to me. I was told that “my ugly heart was evident.” None of the amenities are accessible, the gates don’t work, getting pest control takes an act of congress, maintenance is trash and the office staff, except for Yasenia, is rude! The property would be much better if they changed owners and hired better management and maintenance staff. Good luck getting someone on the phone when calling. I’m still waiting for the owner’s information as I have hired an attorney and reached out to the Attorney General’s office.

Welcome to Raccoon Chase Apartment… I regret to say that my experience at Riverchase Apartment has been nothing short of disappointing. What was once a promising living option has steadily declined over time, leaving residents with a multitude of problems and unfulfilled promises. From non-functional amenities to unkempt areas and unwelcome guests, this complex has failed to provide a satisfactory living environment. One of the most glaring issues at Riverchase Apartment is the complete lack of functioning pools. The enticing promise of a refreshing swim on a hot summer day has turned into a mere illusion. The pools have remained closed for an extended period, and despite numerous complaints from residents, there seems to be no urgency in addressing this issue. It is deeply frustrating to pay for amenities that are not available. Adding insult to injury, the complex has become a breeding ground for raccoons. These critters roam freely throughout the premises, often rummaging through trash cans and creating an unsightly mess. Their presence poses a potential threat to residents' safety and well-being. It is disheartening to witness the deterioration of living conditions due to the management's negligence in dealing with such issues. Furthermore, the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the property have reached unacceptable levels. The once well-kept areas have transformed into neglected and dirty spaces. Trash bins are overflowing, common areas are littered, and the landscaping is overgrown and unkempt. The lack of attention to these basic maintenance tasks demonstrates a clear disregard for the well-being and satisfaction of the residents. Another major disappointment is the absence of essential facilities such as a gym and laundry facility. These amenities are typically considered essential in modern apartment complexes, yet Riverchase Apartment fails to provide them. Residents are left with no convenient options for exercise or laundry, forcing them to seek alternatives outside the premises at an additional cost and inconvenience. Communication and responsiveness from the management have also been subpar. Numerous complaints and requests go unanswered or are met with unhelpful responses. It seems that the concerns and satisfaction of the residents are not a priority for the management team, which further exacerbates the growing frustration and dissatisfaction among the residents. In conclusion, I strongly advise against considering Riverchase Apartment as a place to call home. The deterioration in the quality of amenities, the presence of raccoons, the unclean and poorly maintained areas, and the lack of essential facilities such as a gym and laundry facility have rendered this complex a shadow of its former self. Save yourself the disappointment and seek alternative housing options that prioritize the comfort and well-being of their residents. I have been a resident here for 3 years, and it has been nothing short of miserable. The issues with both management and maintenance are endless. The apartments are old, with the only upgrade being poorly installed vinyl wood flooring that was already buckling when I moved in. I've had random water coming from the walls with no one to address the issue, cracks in the walls large enough to let in bugs like crickets, beetles, and spiders, and animals living between the floors. Currently, I've been without kitchen lights for almost three weeks. Despite calling the office every day since the light went out, nothing has been done. I was told it could be an electrical issue, but maintenance keeps prioritizing other emergencies over my ability to cook or clean in my own kitchen. We pay for trash service but are expected to take our trash to the dumpster ourselves. If you want your filters changed, that’ll cost you extra. This is absolutely my last year here. No matter how many times they change management, it remains an unprofessional and poorly maintained complex. It might be cheap for the area, but it’s a clear example of *you get what you pay for*. I’ve been told, ‘You don’t have to renew your lease,’ when voicing my concerns as a tenant. If negative stars were possible, I would give it. ****UPDATE***** Another instance of water coming from the wall. Maintenance came cut a hole in the wall and left didnt explain anything, didnt patch up the wall, didn't leave a work order or anything, just left ( mind you i work from home so there was no reason to not explain). When he left i thought he was coming back because he said literally nothing. Called the office 4 days later and they sent maintenance to patch the wall back up but still no explain as to why the hole was cut or where the water is coming from. Upstairs neighbors moved out and now there are roaches in my apartment! Pest control came and literally said " THEY WERE PRETTY NASTY AND DID NOT LET PEST CONTROL COME INTO THEIR APARTMENT." I also wish i could post the videos of the live mice right outside my window entering the post on my patio from the hole at the bottom. If I had 3K to break my lease TODAY I would but 4 more months to go. ***ANOTHER UPDATE **** Kitchen lights is out AGAIN and we are approaching week 3 AGAIN!!!🙃🙃 The fridge that was leaking water and was fixed 2 months ago is leaking AGAIN!!!! 2 MORE MONTHS TIL LEASE IS EXPIRED.

This has been the most miserable experience of anywhere I’ve ever lived. After being here nearly 2 weeks, I STILL have no A/C. They put a country window unit in. So I am basically confined to one room that is cool, but I am paying for a whole apartment. The maintenance crew here is the worse I have ever seen. No one has sense of urgency here. No accountability. The maintenance crew obviously is not equipped for the things that need to be done here. Maybe when it’s time to pay rent, I should show the same slothfulness as the folks who work here. I would not recommend moving here. Maybe the new manager will turn some things around, but meanwhile.. It’s miserable here with no A/C.

This was a nice property before . it was nice ,quiet, clean, and safe but same renters are making this property trashy and ghetto.abandoned not driveable cars and car collectors with junk cars just parked on the property for weeks even months and renters who install extra lights on the patio, signs on the front door ,people leaving trash on the floor even when dumpster is empty, trailers and dollys parked on the property, on some units there is many people living ,one person getting the lease but later he or she brings lots of roommates, also pets some residents with many pets in one unit and some they don't have them on the leasing application and some are huge dogs all that makes a property trashy and ghetto.
