So far I have only been a tenant of Park West for about a week, but office management has really gone above and beyond in terms of making me feel safe, welcome, and cared for from my transfer from 4123 Cedar Springs Apartments. Mauricio, the property manager, has been absolutely stellar in addressing any and all concerns I have had. Mauricio has a high attention to detail and cares deeply for his residents (as he did while he did while in management at 4123 Cedar Springs).
Flower and Joey, also members of management, have followed in Maurico's example and have been equally as fantastic to work with even during my onboarding process to become a tenant. The amenities and quality of life improvements, including my apartment unit itself, at this property are superb and look forward to living here. It is quite nice to have secured parking, a maintained pool, and friendly staff.

My wife and I have served as courtesy officers at Park West for over a year. During that time, we faced significant challenges in keeping the property secure—particularly in deterring unauthorized access from the homeless population. These issues stemmed largely from the previous ownership’s lack of investment in critical infrastructure, such as functioning gates and secure doors.
However, since early 2025—around February—there’s been a noticeable and positive shift. With new ownership and the arrival of a new Property Manager, Mauricio, the transformation has been remarkable. Within just a few months, Mauricio has taken swift and effective action to address long-standing security concerns. Gates have been repaired and secured, previously accessible doors and storage units are now locked, and even the elevators have been restored. The list of improvements continues to grow.
As both courtesy officers and residents, we find this progress to be a breath of fresh air. Mauricio and his team have proven themselves to be competent, reliable, and dedicated to the well-being of the community. Their professionalism has made our role easier and our living experience significantly better.
While I’m not usually one to write reviews, I can now say with confidence—something I couldn’t say before—that Park West is a place I would wholeheartedly recommend. If you’re looking for a safe, well-managed community, you won’t regret making Park West your new home!

I'm glad to see a change in managers — it's long overdue. I sincerely hope the new manager brings in a professional attitude, capability to manager without drama or gossip and who focuses on leading effectively rather than tearing others down. The previous manager often gossiped at local bars about residents and property matters, which was completely unprofessional. Though some may disagree, I found Cassie to be a strong manager, and Zamitri worked hard to improve the property. He handled my door and A/C repairs promptly and got the grounds cleaned up even before the professionals arrived. He made things happen when others just took credit.
I’ve seen reviews that were clearly written under office direction, but I encourage anyone reading this to look at the bigger picture. With the new manager now in place, I can already see a positive difference. Here's to hoping things continue to improve.

I highly recommend no one moves here! I’ve been a resident here since December 2019 and ever since Venterra left the property has been falling apart. Lincoln property management took over and did a terrible job, they were then replaced by the Foresight Management who is also doing a terrible job in the 6+ months they’ve been here. Nothing is being done to get the property back to the high quality of life it once was. There is no housekeeper to maintain and clean the building, the landscape on the property isn’t being properly managed, it takes months to get a maintenance work order completed. This is a property that advertises being dog friendly but yet they don’t maintain the dog parks or poop bag stations. There’s carpet on levels 2-4 that smells and looks terrible! The package locker system barely works, the one and only freight elevator has been down for a month and counting. Water fountain in zen garden area barely works and the area isn’t maintained. In the pics you’ll see poop in the carpet and other stains and mold in the carpet from a water leak that hasn’t been fixed. I can go on and on, but in short don’t move here because they will expect you to pay premium prices for less than premium quality of living. Residents that have been here longer than I have are already moving or in the process of moving. I removed my 5 star review that I have Venterra to write this review!
11/01/24 Update…the property continues to spiral downward. The one and only freight elevator has been down for 6+months, it’s also the only elevator on the largest side of the property. The residence garage gate has been broken for 4+ months. Due to this residents cars are being broken into. I’m not even going to blame the staff it’s the owners that are at fault for not giving proper funding.

Thank you, new management team, for helping me move to Parkwest Apartments. I love it here. I save money on gas because I don't have to use my vehicle often. It's so convenient to have everything nearby, including Kroger grocery store, the library, restaurants that close until 2am or 4am, and banks, all within a short distance. Having Katy trails nearby is also great, just a 2-mile walk. I love being part of the welcoming community here at Cedar Springs. Thank you, Ms. Assistant Manager Flower, Mr. Joey, and Property Manager Mauricio. I love my new home.
