I have lived at Muse at Midtown for a little over 4.5 years. Elizabeth, the assistant manager, is always so helpful. The location near the Galleria is so convenient. The apartment manager, although busy, got things done!

I am deeply disappointed with my experience living at Muse at Midtown. The management company changed less than two months after I started living here (summer of 2024), and that's when the nightmare began. I find the new management lacking in empathy, slow to respond, having a high staff turnover, and hard to communicate with. The biggest issue I had was with my next door neighbor, who for months violated the noise policy and also had unruly children who would have meltdowns in the middle of the night. This made it very hard to sleep through the night and have a peaceful living situation. After communicating the issue with management for months, along with providing all the evidence they asked for (which changed every time there was a new front desk person, which happened every few months), nothing really changed until we had a third party involved. Even after a noise violation, the neighbor continued to show lack of consideration and respect, and that, along with the lack of action from management, made me decide not to renew my lease.
I also have concerns about the quality of residents getting approved to live here. I oftentimes smelled weed in the hallways, and there's always random people hanging out. I never felt unsafe but I also overheard people in the elevator talking about how they were evicted in their previous apartment but got approved to live here.
I don't think this place deserves a one star as there are other pros: the professionalism of the maintenance team, the location, and the upgraded amenities. However, these do not make up for the experience I had and for the price I paid in rent monthly. There is also a bar/club on the first floor that residents have complained about.
To the leasing manager Amanda: the constant staff turnover at the front is very disruptive and there is a lack of effective transition plans between the old and new employees. The lack of empathy you have displayed regarding my situation is very disappointing and I hope other residents do not get treated this way.
Based on my experience and that of numerous others in these reviews, I would highly suggest looking elsewhere for a place to live.

I have lived here about 2 year now and love the location. It’s a beautiful place to live. Apparently we are under new management and it’s noticeable. I’ve noticed they have painted and upgraded a lot of the common areas. I absolutely love the mezzanine lounge. When I have friends over we love to hang out there and play pool. The ladies up front are great as well.

Cons:
1. Badly designed shower. The water does not gather at the drain.
2. Two main elevators which are slow, breaks frequently, and are often stinky (with animal excrement or vomit).
3. Unfriendly leasing staff.
4. This apartment complex changed the rent billing system (to Bilt), which billed the wrong amount (at the start of this implementation) and resulted in us shorting the rent. They took many days to inform us of our late rent, threatened us with eviction, and charged us (and many others) a hefty late fee. To add insult to the wound, the staff who delivered the "pay or evict" paper notice was rude.
5. Parking garage stinks.
Pros:
Convenient location.
Has parking.

UPDATE: While the company replied here saying they’d love to discuss this with me, they (Amanda Tarasoff and Elizabeth Pereyra) have not responded to my actual emails. I’ve contacted them directly several times, raised legal and lease-based objections to the fee, and even escalated to formal complaints — all of which have been ignored.
This response is clearly just for show. I stand by my review and encourage others to document everything.
Original Review:
I am deeply disappointed by my experience with Muse at Midtown and Willow Bridge Property Company. Despite following all lease termination procedures in good faith -- providing a 60-day written notice, paying rent through my move-out date, and returning keys and leaving the apartment in good condition -- I have been subjected to unjustified charges due to the leasing office's failure to follow their own contract.
Under the Texas Apartment Association lease, the property was required to collect the early termination fee within 30 days of my notice. They failed to do so. After I moved out, they attempted to charge the fee anyway -- outside the allowable window. When I pointed this out, they reversed the early termination fee yet refused to admit any wrongdoing on their part, but are now demanding a reletting fee instead, despite my not being in default. The lease clearly states this fee "may apply in certain default situations", and I was not in default. They actually owe me the remaining balance on my security deposit.
I made multiple good-faith attempts to clarify my balance and responsibilities during my lease exit, but the leasing staff failed to respond with clear documentation or timelines and tried to shift their own failures to fulfill their own lease terms onto me. I have since filed formal complaints with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the Texas Attorney General's Office.
If this issue is fairly resolved -- including a refund of my remaining security deposit -- I will update this review. Until then, I caution others to be extremely careful dealing with this property. I have been misled by staff multiple times. The lack of accountability, professionalism, and legal clarity in how they manage lease obligations has caused me a significant amount of wasted time.
