Disappointed is an understatement when talking about this apartment complex. When I initially moved into Modena back in November 2023, I thought I was going to love this place and have a great experience. I was completely wrong. For the first 2 or 3 MONTHS of me living here, the main elevator near the lobby did not work. I had a large delivery that I needed to get upstairs, however due to the elevator being down, it would’ve been impossible to do on my own. The woman who I believe to be the manager was not helpful at all. She told me they didn’t have a dolly for me to use and that maintenance could not help me. Once I pointed out the fact that their elevator was still broken, somehow my package ended up at my front door WITH A DOLLY. Shortly after that, on 3/7/24 pest control came out for what I thought was a routine treatment, however not even a week later I began seeing ROACHES. On 3/15/24 pest control came out to do another treatment and again on 4/12/24 and 4/19/24. For the month of May and part of June I thought I was in the clear, but I wasn’t. Not only did I start seeing roaches again, I also started hearing a scratching sound in the wall (have it on video) and today, 8/7/24 pest control came out to put a large “pedal” mouse trap in my vents. I am completely fed up. I spoke to the office about this issue and the same woman who I believe to be the manager was very dismissive and didn’t seem to care much about my concerns. She made it seem like I’m the only person reporting these things, however I’ve heard from several other tenants that they were having issues as well. Avery at the front office on the other hand is very nice and always helps as much as possible. The amount of rent that we pay for this “luxurious” apartment building does not match the quality of life here. I can’t wait for my lease to be up. Be careful if you’re considering moving here. Quick Update: 8/7/24 10:32PM - Walked in my bedroom to go to bed and there’s a roach right above my bed. I’m sleeping every night in fear.
