These units are overpriced for the area and cheap finishes, and them treating you like you live in a dorm. That is why it is mostly vacant.
The manager is condescending, and they will make up charges upon move out for normal wear and tear to keep most of your deposit. Just go ahead and expect to donate that. I was charged for shower cleaning, and carpet replacement when there were no stains or damage.
Also, the area is boring and not walkable at all and there is no guest parking. For the amount of rent you can live in a way nicer place and area.

One of my sisters had a TERRIBLE experience here so much that she moved and didn’t finish her lease. First, the team is incompetent and VERY unprofessional. The owner has a snark, sassy, unprofessional attitude and he can get really nasty. Look him up before you move here he is running for some type of representative of Desoto or Dallas. Has several lawsuits on people. God forbid if you have any personal issues or get locked out of your apartment at night. They will not come to let you in. You will have to call the fire department like my sis did. As much money as she paid, no one came to open the door. Sad. Also there was a disagreement between the owner and her about her mother visiting and staying at her apartment for over a certain amount of days. He said she would have to be added to the lease. Which is fine. But because she challenged him on false complaints that he could not show any proof of, he told her he would call the police on her own MOTHER if he saw her on the property without my sis being present, and have her served with a no trespassing ticket. Very tacky. My sister was already suffering from depression after the loss of her baby and starting a new job. She started to say going home felt even worse at the end of the day because she felt like she was being watched. The apartment is very expensive for cheaply made appliances. There was an incident where she was locked in her apartment on the 3rd floor with NO balcony. The door would not open because of old faulty locks. The fire department came out to break down the door to get her out in which the fireman told her that it was a serious fire hazard and if any fire broke out it could have been severely dangerous! Once she told the maintenance man, his only reply was that the locks were old. WHAT?! So just as she was at her breaking point with the staff, owner and apartment… here comes the PARKING! There is only 1 row of parking for the entire 2 buildings. The parking is terrible!! If you don’t get home by sundown, be prepared to park and walk far. Very dangerous especially if you work late hours and early mornings. And if your a resident there and you park in a visitors spot, he will have you towed. Yes if you are a resident and you come home to no available parks, and the only parks that are available are visitor, he will tow you! The final straw was when he tried to have my sister’s car towed after all the stress and drama. He sent an email 3 minutes before the tow truck showed up … did not give residents any heads up! Thank God our Cousy was there and ran down to move the car. And at the time, because he knows her car, her car was the only one parked in visitors due to there being no parking spaces available the night before. Nice try. God does not like ugly.
Lastly, 2 hours before her coming down to meet him in the office for a meeting about false complaints which again he could not provide any time or dates of any of the complaints, he comes and bangs on her door like a police officer to ask her if she was coming to the meeting when she had already replied to him saying she would be there. When she asked why he knocked that hard, he replied “I knock on everyone’s door like that”. SMH. Save yourself the drama and trouble. For 1600 a month you won’t even have a balcony. The girl in the front office may be his family member or something but trust nothing she does or says. She does not even remember her own lies.
Below are the photos of the day he tried to have her towed … the tow man actually ended up towing 2 to 3 cars that day. Probably residents who could not find parking the night before.

refused to give us two garage door remotes even though we had a two car garage. and our lease stated we would get two remotes. Taiah argued back and forth with us and eventually told us she would just do an amendment to the lease stating we are only receiving one. we refused and finally management stepped in and provided a second remote.
entered our apartment while we were not home and did not leave a note (clear lease violation). only reason i knew is because an extra lock was locked that i never used.
zero guest parking. so many vacancies and leases terminated early.
countertops and drawers are cheap materials, stain/scratch very easily with normal use. then they’ll keep your security deposit to “fix” it when in reality it’s very cheap and flimsy materials.

This whole process leasing here has been really smooth and great. Josh is the kindest and answered every single question I emailed him. Nothing was too dumb, he just simply responded. Everyone I met with inside the leasing office was nice and friendly (Taiah who sits in the front) and their manager as well. I know most of negative reviews are due to parking and not the actual property. I got a townhome to get around that situation but overall I would give them a 10/10 just how they have handled themselves and it was so easy. Keys and paperwork were ready and waiting on me. I also would like to add I move around a lot and this is the first place where it looks like they cared if it was CLEAN before the next resident came.

My experience here started off pleasant. After moving in there were several issues with maintenance not completing things. Upon moving in my dryer was not working. The dryer was switched out without removing the clothes out of them so I had to go to a different apartment to find the dryer and get my clothes out. There were issues with pest control not following up.
The worst part of the experience are the charges after moving out. I was charged for carpet replacement. My apartment was brand new when I moved in. I stayed in the apartment for 15 months with no pets and one occupant but was charged $1300 for carpet replacement. This is a ridiculous money grab. Please be sure to check your agreement before signing because throughout my stay there were additional charges for trash and water due to all the units not being occupied.
