Yari is a great leasing agent, she has been very communicate and helpful throughout my client's application process. I recommended working with her, this community is a hidden gem with an amazing staff!

I recently moved out of the apartment and was a resident here for about 2 and half years. From my experience, I wouldn’t recommend living here. These, in my opinion, are the good and bad of living here.
The good:
Great location. It’s located near a lot of great restaurants and stores. It’s also nice that it’s located near the 635 and 35.
The lakes are beautiful and lots of wildlife that live around the lake. It’s common to see geese and ducks around the lake and occasionally turtles. There are also a lot of squirrels in the day and bunnies at night.
Good amenities. There’s a basketball court, tennis court, and pickle ball court if you enjoy those activities. In addition to two gyms and swimming pools, there’s also a nice dog park and playground. They’re reasonably well maintained from my experience.
Maintenance was prompt. Usually when something broke, a repairman would come the next day to fix whatever issues I had.
It was generally peaceful from my experience though others seem to have had different experiences.
The bad:
Gates, locks, water spouts were often broken. I think half the time I was there at least one thing was broken.
Reserved parking spots. There are a lot of reserved parking spots in prime locations that are unused. You need to pay monthly to use them, but few people actually pay for them. Instead they are often empty and are just useless. It’s inconvenient for residents and just a cheap way to extract more money from you.
Lots of bugs. The bad part of living near wildlife is that there are also a lot of bugs. Bugs would appear in my apartment constantly. Spiders, roaches, ants, etc.
Leaky windows and doors. The doors and windows in my apartment were really leaky. During winter I could actually feel the cold air leaking into my apartment. Expect really high electric bills in the winter. The heater is electric too btw. Expect electric bills over $250 in the winter.
Inconsiderate management. Twice my apartment leaked water from the apartment above me. It was so bad once that I had to stay at a hotel. They didn’t offer to reimburse or help me either of those times. Don’t expect them to help you either if something goes wrong.
Bogus move out fees. They charged me for the most ridiculous reasons. They charged me $60 for a state inspection fee (apparently it’s part of the lease agreement). They charged me $105 to clean my bath of mold (I cleaned it before leaving with bleach but couldn’t remove all of the mold, still thought it was reasonably clean considering the natural wear and tear). They charged me $287 to replace the carpet because it smelled like dog urine (my dog is potty trained, and I’ve never noticed any smell, even if it did smell bad was it really necessary to replace the carpet rather than clean it). They charged me $93 to fix the nail holes in the wall (you’ll be charged if you hang things on the wall). I genuinely felt scammed seeing these charges.
In my opinion, the negatives outweigh the positives. There are just a lot of other places that’ll treat you better than here. There are just a lot of other places that won’t try to take as much money from you as possible. My advice is to not settle and look elsewhere.

This place has been hell before we even moved in. My family and I have been living here for 6 months, we experienced issues from the very beginning. Signed our lease and was anticipating our move in when we got a call saying our unit was unavailable and we would have to wait 3 weeks before they could have it ready (strike 1). I tried talking to property manager Tammy about the displacement of my family and the major inconvenience it would cause. I asked for some type of compensation for an error on their end and Tammy was not having it! She told me there was nothing she could do and she didn't try. I asked for a number from corporate but she told me the calls would just come back to her, so there was no need to pursue it. Fast forward months later a ROACH MOTEL! We have an older model fridge and a huge hole behind the refrigerator. Roaches are frequently going in and out of that hole. My husband has had to set traps throughout the apartment due to this (strike 2). Fast forward to today. Our refrigerator has been leaking water for MONTHS. Causing my food to spoil and ultimately rotten! We put in a service request on Jan. 29th and today is Feb. 22, the issue has not been resolved or mentioned. I went in to speak with Tammy and her response "We have to order the parts and I don't know when or how long it'll be." I inquired about getting a new refrigerator because I know they have them in other units (seen maintenance install one two weeks ago!). Tammy's response to that was "well...you probably wont get a new one but we'll see". Absolutely NO help! If you are thinking about living here, DON'T. We are definitely counting the days until we move.

Lakeview has been my home since 2019.
My experience here has been good. Maintenance has always been prompt, friendly, and efficient. Jose and his team are very personable and listen attentively. Josh is the manager and he's been professional to work with. I wasn't sure if I would need to move out of state and he was kind to allow me time to make the decision to move without penalty. During Covid Lakeside NEVER increased my rent. While many of my co workers had rent increases hundreds of dollars causing them to move. That was such a blessing. The complex is quiet; most residents work nearby or at home. During the wknds the pool stays busy in the summertime. The property could use some TLC with landscaping throughout, especially in the back (either turf, grass or gravel) to cover up the dry ground. The property is pet friendly and most people curb their pets. I especially love the wildlife on this property, the lakes, the trees, etc...theres lots of birds, ducks, squirrels and rabbits. I chose to stay here because it's close to work, the rent is affordable, the maintenance is prompt and efficient, and they listen and take care of things. No matter where it is people who give courtesy & respect will receive courtesy & respect.
