I've lived here for a couple of years now and I'm very happy. Maintenance and the property manager are very kind and attentive. They take great care of the property and tenants, and the bad reviews saying otherwise are ridiculous. This is a great place to live!

I visited this property today and I was very disappointed. The lady in the office wasn’t informative she wasn’t inviting. I asked to view a townhouse she told me that the door was open I guess it’s self service. I saw the place and it smelled like mildew. It need to be updated badly. The up stairs is very narrow so if you have bulky furniture chances are it won’t fit. This is bitter sweet because I see so much potential in the property. The neighborhood is very nice. The lake is beautiful the reviews seem to be true I will not be moving to this property sadly. Make sure you read the reviews everybody is saying the same thing.

It is very apparent this place is completely falling apart and needs to be completely renovated. My 2 years spent here were less than ideal.
1) Leak in water heater resulting in $400-500 monthly electricity bills that took 3 months to fix because they kept telling me it was my fault for over-consuming electricity.
2) Killer wasps in the attic that will keep coming back because they refused to seal off the entry points (pest control said it would be too costly for them and it will only get worse)
3) My upstairs ceiling fell in from a leak in the roof when it was 40 degrees outside. The heat also went out twice when it was under freezing.
4) 6 foot wide puddle outside the townhomes they never properly provide drainage for after many requests
5) Questionable neighbors that leave blood stains and it took weeks to clean up. They also allowed 6+ people to live in a one bedroom.
6) Took 3 weeks for them to remove a dead rat in the backyard
7) There are dogs constantly loose and escaping from their backyards. My dog got bit on the back by a large black dog (owner wasn't using a leash).
8) No one picks up their dogs poop/maintenance or lawn service also doesn't clean it up, so there are just mounds of it everywhere
Shout out to the new maintenance technician though, he is very nice. Also the pool hardly ever had anyone in it, which was nice (when it was actually open).

I hope the future renters of unit 7b see this before they move in! You need to know what you are getting into!
Unit 7b:
(All of these statements are documented and there is proof to back it up)
-Black mold coming from the ac unit above the upstairs shower, they came by to "fix it" but the fix was to paint over it and try to seal it shut. No actual work was done to try to get rid of the mold, just a coat of paint and some screws to try to keep it shut.
-Your downstairs is tricky, the ceiling is not the same height anywhere. The foundation and structural problems caused major sloping.
-structural and foundation cracks all in the walls. Upstairs closet, staircase, den upstairs, downstairs walls...all have cracks. You may not see them at first, they will paint over it like they will the mold and any other issues.
-the kitchen collects water if there are any major leaks (high probability)
-they are quick to shut off water for residents during the winter.
-backyard is cracking cause it's sloping off the drop off slowly.
I wish you the very best of luck. We spent 7 years here, it's only gown downhill (literally with the foundation)
Janet will also threaten you and then turn her phone off when she doesn't like what you have to say.
Let's not forget the winter Strom this past season where she threatened to shut everyone's water off before the storm to prevent issues. We had to get the city involved to stop the unjust actions of Janet and lakehill, which they stated was illegal what she was trying to do.
Janet needs to stop power tripping with her position or find a different profession, she has made this place ridiculous.
I fully expect lakehill to play games with the return of the deposit, but they have laws they must follow.

I've lived here a little over a year now and renewed my lease simply because I didn't feel like moving and do really enjoy the view of the pond and nearby neighborhood. However... anyone considering living here should know that the maintenance staff is below par. They do the very minimum required and unless it's an emergency they take there time in getting to your requests.
The buildings are very old with foundation issues - As with other low end apartments they just paint over every surface they can and don't really repair, clean or re-paint properly... except they want to charge a high end price. The model we saw when first deciding on this place had a nice backyard with grass so that is what we were expecting. The unit we got has a backyard filled with mulch and mud that my dog refuses to step on. This was extremely disappointing since part of the cost is for a yard! We also have a drain taking up a portion of the yard which attracts mosquitos... so basically we don't get to use/enjoy what we're paying for.
The pool lights have been out for half the summer and I have let the office know several times and their response was that they are "working on it". The pool closes at 10pm but you really can't swim past 8pm unless you want to swim in the dark.
It also appears that maintenance doesn't keep up the grounds as there is a lot of trash on/around the complex which doesn't help with the overall outside appeal.
These apartments are VERY OUTDATED and need quite a bit of work to make them worth the cost of rent. You're really just paying for a nice view...
