I give this apartment complex 0 stars!!! Since the first day we moved in, there was already issues.
The first day when I got my keys, I come inside the unit, to come find out there’s literally shit on the kitchen floor, seemed like it was there for a quite a while, the toilet was filthy and did not function properly. I immediately informed front office, (Elizabeth Chavez) stated she is the one who revises units before handing keys to residents but in this case I don’t think she did her part correctly, I don’t even think the unit was “ready” to begin with. We did not have a working toilet for 2 days straight. That same weekend, a shoot out occurred and about 6 cop cars pulled up. It was ridiculous, I had my hopes up but this apartment turned out to be different.
Upstair neighbors are loud, continually stomping, yelling, and screaming.
Roaches everywhere, everyday!!, don’t matter how many times I clean my apartment.
I give props to SOME of the maintenance workers as they get their job done as they should! Now as in for management…. y'all need to get it together. Emails go unanswered, property is mismanaged, residents doing things that are not allowed but yet nothing gets taken care of. Customer service is poorly, especially, Elizabeth C.
Units can be a lot better looking, and definitely can use some renovation, to whoever was in charged of fixing up our unit, they did not do a good job. Bathroom drawers were not cleaned, it seemed as if they just painted over the dirt and left it as it is. Wood cabinets can use a MAJOR touch up! The amount we pay is definitely not worth it.
Im honestly fed up, and unsatisfied with my stay here, never again. I do not recommend.!
One thing for sure is don’t go by the looks of the apartment cuz that will deceive you.

I lived here for five years, had to move out of state due to work, and unfortunately, the management quality declined over time. During the earlier years, Rachel was fantastic—she was responsive and always made sure any issues were promptly addressed. However, in my final year, I had to deal with the new management team, and my experience was not as positive.
Elizabeth often came across as unapproachable and seemed to have an attitude during our interactions, which made communication uncomfortable. On the other hand, Bobbi was always polite and respectful, though she was frequently unavailable when I needed assistance.
Overall, my early experience was great, but the changes in management in the last year significantly affected my satisfaction.

I had an appointment to tour this place and it was an awful experience from start to finish. Elizabeth Chavez is awfully rude, the apartment was not at all cleaned, smelling like fresh cat piss and old cigarettes. plus theres a mysterious orange liquid seeping in the bathtub and the door falling apart. 1,475$ a month for such an awful, disgusting place is a crime.

Avoid Hunter's Hill Apartments at all costs.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I moved here on March 29, and from day one, the experience has been filled with deception, neglect, and serious habitability issues. When I toured the property, the leasing agent Elizabet assured me the unit was move-in ready. I was pressured to apply within 24 hours to secure a special, only to later find out I was forced to pay an undisclosed holding fee — a deceptive practice that was never clearly explained.
I informed Elizabet multiple times that I would be traveling internationally and needed the apartment truly ready before I left. Instead, she called the night before my flight to mention a carpet replacement — yet failed to disclose far more serious problems in the unit.
When I arrived, I found:
Mold in the bathroom ceiling and behind the toilet
A toilet that wouldn’t flush
A filthy, likely dysfunctional refrigerator
Cabinets falling off hinges in both the kitchen and bathroom
Roaches and general filth throughout the unit
It was nowhere near move-in ready.
After my trip, I returned to the leasing office and spoke to Bobbi Arnand, the assistant property manager. She confirmed the unit was unacceptable and stated the property manager, Andrew, actively avoids tenant issues — even pretending not to be in the office. Bobbi offered to show me two upgraded units, but both were also roach-infested, moldy, and in terrible condition, with ceilings nearly caving in.
This property is grossly mismanaged. Emails and phone calls go unanswered. I had to physically sit in the office for hours to get anyone to take my concerns seriously. Ultimately, I demanded to be released from the lease and for all fees and rent to be refunded, as the unit was clearly uninhabitable — a violation of Texas Property Code Section 92.056.
I’ve since visited their sister property, The Brazos, which is a much better-maintained community and well worth the slightly higher cost.
Hunter’s Hill is a textbook example of how not to run an apartment complex. Spare yourself the stress and look elsewhere.
