Roaches keep getting worse. I can't even keep dishes in the cabinets. I've never EVER in my life had to deal with such bullsht.
Don't move here. My apartment flooded not long after I moved in. Called the emergency line multiple times, and no one came until the afternoon the next day after most of the water had seeped back into the floor, which needs to be pulled up along with the carpet leading upstairs. I'm pretty sure there's mold under the flooring, its definitelyin the utility closet. Also, the apartment wasn't cleaned before I moved in. This happened after I cleaned everything downstairs.
Previous tenants smoked in the apartment, and it smelled like weed every time I used the AC. Come to find out, it hadn't been changed either since the previous tenants moved. Air ducts are filthy. I've had multiple respiratory infections since moving over here.
Years ago this place was nice which is why I moved back out this way and the rent was affordable, but I'm sacrificing my health because I can't afford much else, and they have the nerve to ask for more rent. On top of that, every time I use my washer, the pipes are connected to the dishwasher on the other side leak. Great more water Goin under the floor. They came and did something to the pipe to keep it from leaking and said the dishwasher needs replaced, and they'd be replacing it. Later, they came back and put a new piece of pipe on it, and it leaked again. It's been a couple of months since, and there's still no new dishwasher and leaking every time I do laundry. And with all of that, yes, you can guess there are roaches and other little black bugs in my kitchen every time. Some supposedly came to spray, but it did nothing.
Not to mention, I lost a package that had parts to my bed in it they could've easily helped get back.
They'll treat you like you don't what you're talking about when you say what needs fixed. I didn't mention that when I'd turn on the heat, it wouldn't shut off and would go up. It got up 90 in my apt in the winter. I'll give them that one because it was fixed, but they were looking at me. I was crazy.
The sink upstairs only has cold water and smells like sewage when you turn it on. It's only gotten warm water because it's been so hot outside.
The upstairs bathroom was the worst from previous tenants. As I said, NO ONE CLEANED before I moved in. The walls, tub, and floor felt slimy. I hate that I moved here and stayed, but I had nowhere else to go.
I'm so over these apartments charging people to the max and don't fix anything. Even with these being a little cheaper than what's out there. Don't risk your health if you can avoid it.

When I first moved to this place back in 2021 the rent was very affordable, around $679 to be exact. Now here we are May of 2025 and my rent has increased to around $849 ( about a 30 percent increase). Furthermore, this place will nickel and dime you, charges all over the place. With all the charges my rent now come out to about $ 1036 monthly for an apartment that hasn’t seen any upgrades since I’ve moved here. Originally I was only charged for water, but recently ( about 3 months ago), I’ve started getting charged for gas on top of my water and mind you I don’t have a gas stove and the heating in the apartment in electric. When I asked about why I’m now being charged for gas, I was told because the water is heated by gas. Water bill used to be $30 on average , now it’s doubled to about $70 because of the “gas”. Pipes in the bathroom constantly leaks, even when “fixed”. The tub is peeling and cracking, had the tub painted just 2 years ago and it’s worse than it was before I had it “fixed the first time. This place also has roaches and the roaches are getting worse. They charge for pest control but when you complain about the roaches, they’ll send someone to spray but it doesn’t do anything. The roaches infest with a vengeance , doesn’t matter how much you clean. Do yourself a favor and save the headache by not moving here, the price of the falls and oak village used to justify the flaws presented but now they’re charging a lot more and it’s no longer worth it, I will NOT be signing my lease and can’t wait to run from these apartments and never look back!

I would avoid if you need to use onsite laundry. I've lived here for 7 months and people breaking in to tear the place up/sleep/destroy your clothes has been a reoccurring issue.
I have been chased out at night by someone whom I assume had taken up nightly residence in our laundromat as if people who work nights don't wash their clothes. The lights are always turned off and the door has a spring to close it, so once you're inside and have found out somebody is in there tearing stuff up the door has already closed on you. All around pretty terrifying.
The ceiling fan has been ripped out twice and I have found a knife inside at one point (I took it, I'm not about to get stabbed over laundry lmao). In fact I carried a knife with me from that point if I did laundry at night.
I've actually just decided to buy a washer and dryer. That's right, I'd rather assume debt than risk using the onsite laundry after trying to be economical and deal for a few months hoping the issue would be resolved

Tara is the only good thing about this place. These apartments will charge you for any and everything. Then they come up with policies out the blue and expect you already know about them or there is a fee. They have mice, roaches and everything in between. They have leaks, bad insulation, dusty vents, they take DAYS to send maintenance and even then sometimes they don’t speak English so there is a language barrier. The manger, Teresa, does NOT care and will throw you out for being late after 1 late payments. And the apartments need to be renovated BADD. Do not stay here it’s not worth the hassle.
