First off? I would like to say these are one of the finest , cleanest and most professional apartments I have lived in . They are very attentive when are brought to their attention. The cleanliness is spectacular. I have lived in many apartments where there are bug infestations, and since I've been here, I have seen no roaches and or kinds of bug !!!! I truly recommend this location for a family or personal usage. The manager and assistant manager are truly friendly and kind heartily, and actually listen to people, whether it's social related or a minor easy fix situation. I live various places, and this here if not top 1, it's deff top 3 !!!

Hi everyone I used to be a resident here when it was still “Verge Apartments” everything was all good until the switched management I don’t even know where to begin when they gave me my apartment they gave it to me with a horrendous floor and when I repotted it they said I could leave it as is or pay to have it replaced when they gave it to me that way anyways fast forward to my move out date 4 years later I get a bill of $700 from this apartment charging me for a damaged floor when it was in the exact same condition they gave it to me and I absolutely refused to pay for it because if there was any damage it was from normal wear in tear which is very much illegal to charge your tenant for. Since I refused to pay they sent that bill to collections and are now affecting my credit score, and my ability to get a job or seek a new apartment . Aside from this major complaint I have smaller ones too for example they towed my car several times because they don’t paint their parking spaces correctly, they towed visitors of me, they limited how many times someone can visit me (3 times a week) I paid so much rent just to have someone tell me I can’t have visitors and this visitors usually being my Mom coming from Houston or my Brothers coming from Austin. When my AC would stop throwing cool air it would take them 2 weeks to fix it so I would be living in a hot apartment in the middle of a Texas summer with temperatures reaching 98 degrees absolutely insane. I would have to go stay with a friend because it would get too extreme. They also started blasting text messages to all residents saying things like “whoever doesn’t comply with this or that will get a fine” it would get so ridiculous to the point they didn’t even let children play outside. You literally can’t do anything here. I always wanted to decorate my terrace but anytime I tried they always hit me with that “please remove this or we will have to fine you as it doesn’t meet our expectations for our image” but if you go to the units in the back they literally had trash bags, toys, old furniture just sitting there for days and no one tells them a thing.
To be exact with everyone I paid roughly $1,300 maybe just a little bit more than that. I always felt obligated to follow their rules and never stand up for my rights as a renter but after moving away and finding a better place while freelancing I feel like I have my power back and will be filing a lawsuit against this location for their negligence.
To anyone thinking about renting here
My best opinion is to not rent here they will abuse their power and try to squeeze every dollar out of you and if you do decide to live here DOCUMENT EVERYTHING! Record ever conversation record every document every payment every work order every single corner of your apartment do not let anything slide.
Even if they don’t want you recording them
Voice record them in secret they WILL they do not care about you they care about getting your money.

Hello-I have resided at this property when it was The Arts Apartments at Midtown and that has been about 11-12 years ago. I was a single mom with 3 young children. I have felt safe and at home here. We had a good relationship with the team and felt heard, helped and respected. Then the property changed to The Verge and there were many changes to regulations and guidelines along with newer upgrades inside and out and it had made our home community have a nice appeal and look. My 3 kids moved on to their own apartments and I remarried and my husband moved in with me. When COVID hit, The office staff from that point has changed more than several times and the property owners as well have changed and along came more changes in guidelines and regulations and we have been completely compliant in what was asked of us. If anything was needed, (proof of coverage), parking permits/registration updates—whatever was asked, we willingly supplied to the Office. I want to do that it’s very unsettling when so many changes are made and really, no one knew the names of who worked in the office many a time. Now, Here is my problem and concern. We have have been charged $150.00 of 6 months worth of the property’s renters insurance when have had our own EVERY year. There was ANOTHER change in office staff and when it was discovered by current leasing agent-Beatriz (she has been very helpful and very supportive in this matter). She was able to credit the October ‘24 bill, but for the PREVIOUS months (May -Sept) we were billed $25 each month because the PREVIOUS office staff said we had no renters and we did AND came to the office to have a copy mande to keep in our file. Ms. Sandra manager said that they could not be responsible for what the previous office staff/property management did and that the $150. would not be credited to us. That’s $150. Out of my pocket…. We don’t have that kind of money to waste in this economy! ESPECIALLY since we have had our own continuous renters insurance. I feel that the error was made by the office staff and we PAID for their error.
We call this community our home and have been steady residents, have paid rent on time and never late. I would be more than happy to speak to someone regarding this matter to get it resolved. 18-1002

I can tell that there is a new ownership group. They're fixing all the issues that used to be present. It's really nice to have a landlord that takes pride in his/her property. The new pool furniture is great. They've fixed the parking lot. The laundry room got a bunch of new machines. There was a crew that installed a bunch of new A/C units too. I was in one of the units that they fixed up. I might have to move to one of those new units.
