DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY MOVING HERE!!! BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! Absolutely the worst apartments I’ve ever lived in and I’m in my 50’s! Management is a joke after they’ve sweet talked you into the lease and then they could care less about your safety or comfort. I had several issues with my move in and had to move to another unit by the pool…what a joke, they don’t clean the apartments after the contractors are done, I guess since they’re new they don’t feel that they need to. I pay for valet garbage (mandatory) but they often come before the designated pick up time 7pm so when I get home at 6:30 they’ve already come so I have to wait or take it down myself. There’s garbage left in the stairwells and outside as well as they don’t have anyone clean or vacuum the hallways in the buildings. It took a week to get them to do anything about the hornets nest outside my balcony because my safety isn’t important but they wouldn’t send maintenance because it was “unsafe” for them! Why do I also pay for Pest control????!!!! I’m writing this at 1:30am because AGAIN there’s a party at the pool and they refuse to keep that under control. The pool has been an ongoing issue for over a month but since they haven’t hired “a courtesy patrol” residents just have to live with the disturbance. I’ve called emergency maintenance but they say to call the police. The police say I have to be a manager reporting for them to do anything…so there ya go….these pictures are of several different days not just one night. The screaming, laughing and music at 1,2,even 4 or 5 in the morning is absolutely ridiculous! The lure are the specials but PLEASE don’t let that be why you get suckered into this place! Sydney is sweet but isn’t any real help…sends a couple emails and that’s about it. They’re now not even returning my phone calls about the issues. Charisse, the manager is no help either, who is supposed to be responsible for this community??? They sent emails on Monday 6/23 that they were doing HVAC inspections and filter changes in different buildings on different days so on Wednesday 25th, Thursday, 26th and Friday 27th. They sent one more email updating that they hadn’t completed all the apartment in the designated buildings on day one but nothing else had changed. My apartment building was scheduled for Thursday, since I hadn’t received any updates I had assumed it had been completed. I arrived home after work the following Monday to a freezing apartment due to thermostat being turned way down from where I keep it. I also noticed that some things I had on the floor had been moved out of the way. They had entered my apartment without my permission or knowledge. Unacceptable, if you hadn’t completed the items you should have let the residents know when you would be entering. On top of that, there are still used filters sitting in the stairwells a week later. I just returned from 4th of July vacation to the filters still in the stairwell (see pic) and the pool party at 1:30 am. Whatever you do…don’t do it, I beg you, don’t let the obviously fake reviews that sound very scripted fool you….this has been a nightmare from day 1 and I’m stuck until April 2026 living miserably and without any peace. It’s not allowing me to post video or you’d be able to hear what I have to listen to on a regular basis.

I had a great experience touring Collin Square Apartments with Sidney—she was so kind, approachable, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. She gave me a full tour of the amenities (pool, club room, fitness center), and everything was spotless and well-kept. The apartments we saw were spacious, and the overall vibe was peaceful and quiet (though I visited around 10 AM, so I’d recommend checking it out later in the day too).
Ultimately, I decided to apply elsewhere—not because of the property itself or Sidney’s assistance, but due to a couple of factors worth mentioning for future renters. In the fine print, I noticed that offer letters aren’t accepted, which can be a dealbreaker for those relocating from out of state who haven’t officially started their new job. Additionally, it seemed like multiple paystubs were required, even if employment had already been secured. Just a heads-up to save others time during their apartment search!
Another personal reason I didn’t apply was that the complex was a little too close to my workplace—I’ve learned the hard way that I need more separation between work and home.
That said, I’m thrilled with the apartment I ultimately chose (not at Collin Square—it’s perfect for me, spacious, and full of amenities), but I can’t say enough good things about Sidney. She was truly a delight and a sweetheart, and anyone who tours with her will be in great hands! If you’re considering this complex, I highly recommend reaching out to her!
