I’ve tried to just move on and out without making a review but now I have to I moved here in September 11th 2021 moved out September 7th 2024. I loved this apartment the first 2 years but year 3 was a complete nightmare from downstairs neighbors being musicians to upstairs neighbors just constantly keeping up noise hence why I moved. Today I get a call from a collection agency of a “move out” balance carpet cleaning and other fees because “they send us a bill and we send it out” ok cool but I also got a charge for trash being left I personally would like proof of a picture but there’s no evidence of that of course not because I completely moved on the 7th and turned my keys in and took photos ! Furthermore my ceiling water damaged twice in the last year do you think the second time before I moved they even bothered to paint over it.. absolutely not but I have move out charges of 15 and 20 dollar for water and sewer when the whole time I lived there for an entire month it was never that much and also if I paid rent on the first-third how do I have a trash, sewer, and water charge from 8/3/24 to 9/10/24 ? I still get notifications and emails til this day about these apartments but nobody could email me about a outstanding “move out charge” til collections called today and it January all I got was we mailed it but yall email everything else. Now where do yall see trash that had to be took out ?? Or the stove that needed cleaning the new tenant could’ve moved in right after me if we’re being honest but I guess that’s just how the cookie crumbles smh .

I’ve been a longtime resident at Century Lake Highlands and couldn’t be happier with my experience here. Alice and her team truly go above and beyond for the property—they are always helpful, responsive, and have the best attitude. Francisco is here early every morning making sure the grounds are clean, which I really appreciate and which keeps the property looking great. Orlando and Rudy handle maintenance requests quickly and efficiently. Residents are also kept updated via email, which is so helpful. The amenities are always clean, the workout center equipment is well-maintained, and I love that there’s a package hub to keep deliveries safe.
It’s important for everyone to stay informed and do their part, especially when it comes to cleaning up after themselves, taking care of their pets, and following parking rules. I once made a mistake by parking in a visitor spot and had to take responsibility for the tow charges—it was my own oversight. It’s not fair to expect the property management team to cover mistakes made by residents. Living in the city comes with its ups and downs, and sometimes things happen that are out of anyone’s control. The management team always communicates with us if anything arises, and I’ve never felt unsafe here.
As long as Alice and her team are here, I plan to continue living at Century Lake Highlands. I have complete trust in their management. Thank you for making this property feel like home!

My wife and I lived at Century Lake Highlands for 2.5 years while saving for a house and we could not have had a better experience! The staff are very attentive to any concerns and take care to create a nice place to live as some of them live here as well. The few times I had a maintenance issue the team was always on it even after hours. They always took care to make sure my cat didn't get out if I was not home for a repair. The location is prime with proximity to running and bike trails and the adjacent green space made for a quiet escape in the middle of Dallas. We also took full advantage of the nice pool & gym. Thank you for a great experience and highly recommend!

Just moved here. Car stolen at 2 am, hot wired. this process took 40 min for them but they were able to just take their time due to no security no cameras broken gates (yes they left to go get some tools or a driver that barley knew how to drive stick) and there it went, right out of the parking lot and through those "security gates" Easy peasyyyyy. Management didn't care, not even a sorry. The same day. I received a text message, reminding the complex to pick up dogs droppings, and no where in there was a mention that a car was stolen that morning. And they definitely didn't let me break my lease no penalty or discounts. And DEFINITELY told me she thinks the camera footage erases after 24 hours and I'm not giving them to you. A detective will have to request them, well that detective hasn't even contacted me yet. It's a long story and I could list so much more. According to my Neighbors statements, apparently this is quite normal here. So here's the review I was looking for before moving here.
