My partner and I had an extremely disappointing experience with Centreport Lakes Apartments. We moved in on July 12, 2024, after paying our rent on the first of the month, only to find the apartment in unacceptable condition. There were stains resembling black mold on the thermostat, vents, and switches, damaged doors, bird feces near our entrance, holes in the closets, a non-functional microwave, and a malfunctioning garbage disposal causing water stagnation. Additionally, the stove and oven did not work, forcing us to eat out or order fast food, which was a major inconvenience considering the current economic situation.
Despite numerous requests for repairs, these problems remained unresolved. The management’s communication was poor, and it took far too long to address our concerns. Even after involving the city’s Code Compliance, who verified the violations, the management’s response was inadequate. When I requested a lease termination under Texas Property Code § 92.056(e), they delayed confirmation and failed to provide clear answers regarding prorated charges, further adding to our frustration.
We were finally granted a lease termination without penalty, but even then, we were incorrectly charged a prorated fee for August 1, despite vacating on July 31. The whole ordeal has been stressful and disappointing, especially as we are new to Texas. I would not recommend Centreport Lakes Apartments to anyone looking for a hassle-free living experience.
Pros:
• Location is convenient.
Cons:
• Poor apartment condition upon move-in.
• Inefficient and unresponsive management.
• Unresolved maintenance issues.
• Unclear communication regarding charges and lease terms.
• Major inconvenience with non-functional appliances.
Avoid this place if you value your peace of mind.

I stopped by Centreport Lake Apartments recently while checking out places to move, and the visit left a great impression. The property looked clean and quiet, and the staff especially the person I spoke with, Michael, was really professional and easy to talk to. The atmosphere felt welcoming, and the location is super convenient. I’m still exploring my options, but this one definitely stood out in a good way.

Although I may not end up staying here as long as planned I wanted to go ahead and write a review for the ladies at Centreport Lake. Courtney and Alyssa have always been professional and kind to me. I did read the reviews prior to moving here but this was the location and the original apartment that I wanted and because I know that management companies can go through periods where they become overwhelmed or there's changes in ownership etc. those things can change and improve but the apartment that you want may not exist somewhere else. So pick your battles and focus on making your home and your surroundings clean and beautiful. With that said this is a huge complex and in my experienced opinion there are not enough people in that office to work it. So straight off the bat the new management team is overworked. Issues with trash collection and grounds are slowly improving and my work orders have been completed in a timely manner. I saw a couple of posts about rats or mice. I'm on the second floor and thankfully have not experienced any in my apartment. However we are on the border of the complex where I can see that rats emerge from the city sewer 10 feet away. Bear this in mind when choosing your apartment because each one may have a different experience within the complex depending on where it's located and there's little that management can do about rats in the city sewer. DO contact the city of Fort Worth . For me I chose this beauty ( can't seem to attach pictures here) of the beautiful lake and wildlife knowing that there are occasional road noise warriors.
I think it is important to remember that you catch more flies with honey and we cannot control or predict the behaviors of everyone we encounter in life but we are in control of our own behaviors.

These were the first apartments I moved into when I relocated to Texas. At first, everything seemed decent, but that quickly changed—especially around move-out time. I had an open case with management that dragged on for over a year with no resolution. To this day, it's still the worst experience I’ve ever had living in an apartment community.
What’s even more frustrating is that my original negative review somehow disappeared, so I’m leaving this updated one to warn others. It’s been a few years since I lived here, but from what I’ve seen and heard, things have only gotten worse.
For the prices they’re charging now, it’s simply not worth it. The upkeep is poor, the management is unresponsive, and there are far better options in the area that offer more for less. I STRONGLY do not recommend living here
