I got to live at Briargrove at Vail for almost 2 years before moving out of state. I enjoyed my time here, the proximity to the major highways and roadways was a plus. The management did a good job in making sure the apartment was maintained. I moved in and there were fleas throughout all the carpeted areas. The management team worked with me to get pest control out in timely manner and after first application didn’t work, I called again and they came out and did 2 more sprays to remedy the situation. In addition, the maintenance men were very nice when they came to work on issues in the apartment and when I was present they told me what was fixed. Only downside was it took 3-4 work orders placed for the old (white appliance) leaking fridge to finally be fully fixed (no more leaking) and then replaced with a new stainless steel appliance. The apartments were fairly quiet for me on the third floor (no elevators) which was a big plus as I was in class, studying, or sleeping most of my time as a resident. The biggest downside of this apartment complex was parking for guests. It made it difficult for me to have classmates over to study and work on group projects. If you don’t like hosting events often then parking shouldn’t be an issue. Overall, I would recommend this apartment complex due to the positives outweighing the negatives

Unacceptable, I lived here for 5 years, never missed a payment, never caused any issues. I recently moved out, and I left 8 screw holes (8 small screw holes) in the wall from my 2 tv mounts. Just so they didn’t have to give back portion of my deposit they decided to charge me $224 to fix the screw wholes from my tv mount. In what does it cost $224 to fill up 8 small screw holes with sparkle. This is completely unethical charge, just so they don’t have to pay me back my deposit.
Also, I’m March of 2024 my car was damaged by my neighbor in our assigned parking spots. I had photo graphic evidence and the apartment did nothing for me other than move them to a different parking spot. So, I file an investigation and it turns out they didn’t have insurance, they gave him an assigned parking spot and he didn’t even have car insurance, and they didn’t want to compensate me for the damage that this person did to my brand new car at the time.
I would think twice before moving here

I am reviewing after moving out from this apt complex after residing there for 1.5 years. 1 star due to the following breakdown.
Safety - there were several crime watch emails sent to residents that terrified me. At one point a car was on blocks for idk how long that had no tires. I did not feel very safe here hence moving.
Parking - the parking is a JOKE here as the complex basically has a monopoly game of spaces to rent either uncovered for 20 or covered for 30 per month. I was forced to pay for uncovered due to going out at night on occasion and seeing no spots left anywhere in the dead of night. I did not feel safe walking in a dress at 1am etc from God knows where I would park. It's ridiculous the amount of space that could be used for guests and residents.
Grounds - you will find countless cigarillo stems littered throughout the complex. The amoun of "odor" was rampant through the complex also.
AC units - most of the units are outdated and old with severe rust stains. With how much folks paying high rent this is ridiculous. The units look ancient honestly.
Gym - the gym is sub par at best. Outdated, small and folks do not respect gym etiquette. The sauna door is open here and there turned on still which over heats the room.
Maintenance - great staff and very timely. Never had any issues.
Office staff - Nice and professional. Always helpful and willing to help where needed. I will say I do not appreciate the heads up on handing my keys in a day early. I was charged $43 for turning in keys early. Not communicating with a resident is unacceptable.

I went to see an apartment and Perla was very welcoming and helpful on my vist, she explained everything and of course walked me through the property to see vacants apts this apartments wasn't in my selection due to parking, I noticed it can get complicated bc while I was visiting n touring some one started to honk the horn on me, bc he was waiting for me to move so he can park on my spot...that was a big no no for my decision! That tells me there is not enough parking n ppl can get out of hand trying to find parking.

I have read most of the reviews. Though i respect everyone opinion, many of them tend to be more personal than general issues. Yes the complex is near Addison airport so if you choose to live here, you should expect planes flying over several times a day, but honestly, it's not as bad as some people described it to be. The complex is kept very clean. Parking can be a bit rough, but if you don't mind walking a bit, you still can find a parking spot. The gate is always closed so you feel secured. The area is pretty quiet. There is a park down the street where you can jogg or ride your bike. I once placed a work order and 2 maintenance gentlemen showed up a couple of hours later. I have given bad reviews to other apartments before but honestly, I'm pleased with what i see so far.
