I have lived here at the Bishop North for over a year now and currently on my second lease. I’ve been more than pleased with the complex and the management staff. They truly care about their tenants and find ways to show their appreciation. They host weekly socials with wine, pool parties (during the summer), and overall very festive during national holidays. The staff is always in good spirit and welcoming. To include any maintenance request.. are responded promptly and well. They really make it hard to leave!

Living at Bishop North has truly been the best experience I’ve ever had! The apartments and amenities are stunning, but what really sets this place apart is the incredible staff. Every single team member—from leasing to concierge to maintenance—is exceptionally kind, professional, and genuinely caring. I’ve never felt so well taken care of or so valued as a resident. Bishop North felt like a little family and we miss y'all so much! The only reason we moved was honestly because there's not a grocery store close and I desperately needed a bathtub 😂 our new place just doesn't have the same positive energy. Love you all so much!!!!

Just moved in recently and I am so happy to be living here. Amazing location and building. The leasing office associates are incredible especially Amber who guided/helped me with my apartment tour and move in process. Everyone else including Rebecca, Bri, Brandy & Marcus as well as the after hours concierge associates are really great. (Hope I didn’t forget anyone to mention) Bishop North is a dream!

I enjoyed my time living at Bishop North! The apartments are nice and updated, the surrounding area has a lot to offer, and the people here are friendly. We loved the maintenance team and the security guards here are great. We occasionally had issues with our packages being taken or opened, and the building itself is not as secure as I would have liked. Overall, I think this complex is a good place to live and I would recommend to anyone looking in the bishop arts area!

I loved it here for 2 years and chose to pay them $300 more/month to upgrade to a bigger unit for another year. I wouldn’t take time to write a review about typical apartment issues, such as noise or crime. But what I dealt with was unacceptable and important for anyone who’s considering living here, to be aware of.
1. The way this place is run is laughable. My lease was up in May, I wanted to transfer to a bigger unit. They didn’t respond to me about this until JUNE. A month after my lease ended. I was told they'd get back to me on what units would be available. I was in the dark on whether I could transfer for 2 months. I regret not leaving then.
2. In July my AC was out & it took them 3 days to respond to the maintenance request. I couldn’t use my dryer, the manager said he put in a maintenance request for it. After a couple of weeks went by, I followed up again, and he said he never submitted it but thought he did…
3. Cigarette smoke/overall cleanliness: I transferred to a bigger unit at the end of June that was full of cigarette smoke. I got sick within my first week of living there. My doctor provided a letter saying I needed to leave as I have asthma/am allergic to tobacco, and was having breathing problems. The property manager did not address this for 2 weeks after I made the original complaint.
Ma'Tyia was helping me initially, and she is the best thing about this property. She was kind, consistently attentive and helpful, but unfortunately, my situation needed attention from management (Kennedy).
I developed a cough that I still have, going on 3 months now. I had frequent asthma attacks and lost my voice from the smoke in my unit, which also got into my furniture and clothes. I asked to transfer 5 different times, providing my doctor's note. Management pushed back to try to get rid of the smell first, but it did not work. I let them know each time they tried to clean it, that my health was compromised and I needed to transfer despite their efforts to clean the unit. Not only was my unit gross, but there were still residents actively smoking cigs on my floor. After 7 weeks of going back and forth with multiple written and in-person requests to transfer, the property manager said I could transfer after I sent pics of cigarette butts. This is not the protocol that’s stated in their lease or Section 92.056 of the Texas Code.
After weeks of compliance and patience for them to resolve an issue on their part, I was told that they had used all resources to help me with “my problem”.
Outside of the smoke, the place was dirty when I moved in. The pictures attached are from my move in day. The previous tenant had not fully moved their belongings out of the unit which I ended up moving since management wasn’t responsive.
I was finally able to break my lease and found another apartment managed by a more competent company. It is bigger, cheaper and clean.
