I recently toured Bell Knox District , and overall, it was a great experience. The leasing office staff was friendly and welcoming from the start. Jesse provided a thorough overview of the amenities, leasing options, and answered all my questions with patience.
The property itself was well-maintained — clean landscaping, no visible trash, and secure entryways. I toured a one-bedroom unit, which had a modern layout, updated appliances, and plenty of natural light.

The lobby was stylish and welcoming. Jesse gave the tour he was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure all my questions were answered without being pushy. I’ve lived in 4 different apartments in 5 years and the maintenance team at Bell Knox District is by far the best!! They are extremely knowledgeable and efficient, always ready to tackle whatever the issue is. They are also extremely kind and personable which is so reassuring. I like to ask what they’re doing and why and while others could get annoyed, they are always so kind and explain everything with ease. Even when they tackle whatever the maintenance request was, they will ask if there’s anything else you need. I’m grateful to live in a building where the maintenance team is truly amazing!

Living at Bell Knox District has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.
To start, they completely mishandled our rent. We deleted one bank account from the resident portal and added a new one. Despite this, they still pulled rent from the deleted account — a serious failure on their part. We were told over the phone by Jesse, they confirmed the money was pulled from the correct account and we were good to go, however, this was untrue. This resulted in a non-sufficient funds charge from my bank that I now must deal with, all because they processed payment from an account that was no longer even visible or authorized in the system. This kind of mistake is not only careless but unacceptable and worry-some that they still have access to an account that was deleted within the resident portal. They just said neither the system nor the staff did anything wrong.
Then, we had a guest towed from visitor parking even though they had a valid, time-stamped temporary parking permit issued at 11:46 am. The vehicle was towed at 12:24pm, well after the permit was created. When I contacted the towing company, they were unprofessional — hanging up on me twice, telling me they “didn’t have to prove anything,” and flat-out saying I was out of luck and would never get a refund. This is who Bell Knox chooses to partner with. We provided all evidence that we had a proper parking permit and Bell Knox called it fraudulent.
Through all of this, the manager, Andrew, has called us a liar and said that we have fabricated documents. They are claiming that the emails we have provided are not real, but unable to show us what it “should” look like. I decided to go speak to Andrew in person where I asked them “so you are not willing to do anything at all?” Andrew responded with “correct, yep.” At which I terminated the conversation and left the office as Andrew was visibly getting angry with me and I was beginning to feel uncomfortable.
But that’s just the beginning. The elevators are frequently out of order, sometimes for weeks at a time, which is completely unacceptable in a multi-story residential building. The hallways are not air-conditioned, so walking to and from your apartment in the Texas summer heat feels like you're in a sauna. On top of that, there is a major pigeon problem throughout the community — bird droppings are everywhere: on walkways, landscaping, railings, and balconies. It’s disgusting and clearly not a priority for management. We keep receiving emails that they are fixing these issues and told “it will be two weeks” and the issues never get resolved.
Considering the price point, this building falls far below expectations. For what you pay, you get outdated finishes, cleanliness issues, unreliable amenities, and a building that simply does not hold up against newer, better-managed properties right next door. Bell Knox may try to present itself as a luxury community, but it does not deliver a luxury experience. Do not believe the heavily edited photos on the website.
Two positive thing that I can point out: the maintenance team. They are almost immediate when responding to issues that we have had like A/C in our unit not working multiple times, pipes under the sink flooding our kitchen, and cabinets falling off of the wall. Furthermore, all of our interactions with Jonathan have been extremely pleasant and he is very polite. They have continued to keep me updated and not called us inappropriate names.
Through all of this, I am still willing to continue dialogue with the property even though they have made it clear that they do not want to offer any assistance.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this place to look at neighboring buildings — you'll likely find something newer, cleaner, and far better managed for the same cost.
